HELP ?!?!? ASAP ....Can I feed this ??
Okay so im in kind of a bind and do not know what to do but basically I bought a frozen rat on saturday and my girlfriend put the frozen rat in my not so much kind of freezer it doesn't work all the way to make it frozen so basically it is now monday which is feeding day and I went to go grab the rat and felt it and it was still really cold to the touch but was a little mushy in the stomach area and head ..... Can I still offer this to my snake or should I wait until tomorrow to go buy a new one that is completely frozen and thaw it out and feed it from there ??
I would like to know what I should do asap
thanks

I thought some blood on the mouth was a good enticer???

Is there a problem if their's blood on the rat/mouse?

Yeah, you should be alright to feed it. As was stated, BP's will occasionally eat carrion, so it wouldn't harm your snake if it was already a little thawed for a while. The blood on the nose question was more to ascertain how thoroughly thawed it was, I'd believe, because mine always bleed from the nose/mouth when I thaw them out slowly.
