I've been a bad snake mom :ohmygod: I haven't updated his 'profile' pic on my website for a least a year...maybe more :oops:

He's technically a ph clown, but I just love how dark and beautiful he is! He's an '08 and sitting at 1k give or take. He still has the same bad attitude as the day he came out of the egg -Robin said he about got her in the face, lol. Bad snake! :colbert: He was hissing for the entire photo shoot, as always :rolleyes:

no, wish i had something good to share.
but he is so pretty. I have yet to hear a hiss from my snakes! wish i knew what is sounded like ahah

He's got a nasty attitude that one! I've had a few people that have been around BPs and they didn't realize/believe me that BPs hissed until they came over to visit and I opened his tub :rofl: He used to scare me a little, but he's all show. The funniest part was when I put that little pastel on him, she starting hissing too! It was a BP chorus! :rofl:

This is Roxy, my First Ball Python. She has a real random pattern and a dark hue to her, love her overal colors and especially her personality. Shes not as dark as yours, but darker than any of my other ball pythons.

ahah you should have tried to record the sound on your phone. or camera if it allows that.
maybe my snakes have hissed and i mistook it for a wheeze. I am paranoid XD

Ah I should have! My camera is actually pretty good about picking up noises. If you pay close enough attention when you hear it, they will puff up with air and squeeze it out.

His daughter looks weird but nothing like him. I'll get some pictures of her tonight

Here's our male het caramel. Its an older picture but he's kept the deep, chocolaty browns.

I don't have a girl for him yet. I need to get on that! Deep down I want to believe he's a het clown :please: but he's got a pretty sweet black back. At least I could see if that was genetic, or maybe his darkness. Either way, he will be a fun little project one of these days!

kicking myself for not picking up 1 or 2 really dark ones at the last show I went to. Oh well.
and I definitely have heard that hiss. Just this morning actually lol. I have a cinny girl that did not like being woken up this morning that let me have it for digging her out of her cage.

Nice dark looking normal. My normal male hisses every time I open his tub but never strikes, all talk but no walk...LOL

He is beautiful and he does make a great background for the other cuties!

Yeah, he escaped on me before he shipped to Stephanie, and as I was looking for him, I bent down to look under something and he was under a remote control car sitting near the rack, and I "found" him when he came flying out from under it trying to strike my face! LOL

It wasn't what I was looking under actually! LOL

What's so funny is that his parents are so laid back, and his sisters are also laid back.

Most of mine actually hiss, but they are mostly show. I've been keeping bps for 4 years now and just the other day I got bit for the first time, and it was because I decided to help my mojo get the last inch of skin off her tail, lol.

My newest girl, the het hypo, nearly jumped out of her tub trying to bite me in the face last week. Scared me even tho she is so tiny. :D

Lol yep! He stopped striking at me about 6 months ago. He never actually bit me, but he made sure to let me know I wasn't welcome in his tub.

Thanks for posting those pictures of him and his mommy and daddy! He takes after his mom in looks for sure! I don't know what is with his attitude though! :rofl: He's always ready to eat that's for sure. If I ever have something that I can't get anyone else to eat, f/t usually, I give it to him because he will eat ANYTHING!

He looks pretty similar to my guy! I agree, hopefully we both have some luck, that would be awesome! Like you said though, if not, they could make some stunning babies! Definitely a fun project whether it be clowns, black backs, or dark babies!

I have a hissy baby. I've had him a month. No matter what, he always hisses or craps on me. He's got a perfect setup and eats like a champ, but just an angry little snake.
