Well if you like first person shooters try www.quakelive.com it's fun if you can keep up. If you liked Dungeons and Dragons board game you can now play online at www.ddo.com. I haven't been able to try it yet. My home internet sucks.

Final Fantasy 14 is free to play currently. You will have to buy the game first though. But I warn you, it was a bitter disappointment to me and i had been looking forward to it since it was announced.

I tried a couple free MMORPG's, but in my opinion none compare to WOW. I would play for a few days, and stop. None held my interest. Wow just came out with Cataclysm, and it rocks.

Lol totally agree, I'm currently loving the cata gameplay but we were talking about this the other day and I heard tell of a game called minecraft I believe? Big hit with the nerds. I don't say nerds in a bad way btw.

Well, I'm a nerd. My friends don't think so, but I am going to school to be a computer programmer, and play WOW... I haven't heard of minecraft. It is pretty funny, I really don't like any other game than WOW. I was very suprised that I liked it the first time I played it. I don't own any game systems like all of my friends do.

It can happen. Glad to hear that you quit if it were that bad. I play usually every day for an hour or two, but I also work, workout, hang with friends, so I'm definitely not addicted.

I second this one. You do have to buy the software, but there is no monthly fee to play. I don't play anymore (lost interest in these kinds of games some time ago) but my husband still does. Looking forward to #2 as well.

Runescape is decent for a totally free game. Hubby was into that one for awhile, too.

I bought Guild Wars several years ago but never got into it. I think I have my discs still, so I may have to reinstall and try it out.

I did find another free MMORG that I played for a year or so that was pretty fun. It's called Last Chaos. But the company that makes it, Aeria Games, has several totally free MMORGs you can download and play.
