The Little Lesser that almost wasn't
So if you read the back story great here's the cliffs notes; Bred RDR Lesser to CH female, clipped the egg..HOLY HELL!!! what is that, crawled out early dragging her yolk, untied knot in yolk, Set her up, found her the next morning not moving and limp having not absorbed any yolk, I was running late for work so I up the box back in the bator, came home expecting to just throw her out and she had absorbed almost all of her yolk and was looking good..

Fast Forward about 8 months and here she is now..

SWEET lookin' Lesser Ed! I've seen some Pastel Lessers that didn't look that good. I'm glad she's doing well. Congrats! :gj:

I'd say the moral of this story is to never give up on these little guys! She's just stunning!! I'm so glad you didn't give up on her!!

It seems like the best looking snakes are the ones that have a struggle to make it! My male spider was only 34 grams when he was hatched and never missed a meal and is now bigger than his brother by over 300 grams and they are about a year and a half old! I remember your story and I am happy to hear she worked out for you! She is gorgeous!!!

Ed you know I love Lesser's she's hott man, and I know the feeling you got when you saved her its like you get a bigger connection to them then the others right?

When I look at or handle Gideon my ivory I always say wow I saved this boy. Proud!!

I'm a big sap when it comes to these things..I look at her and I think about if I had taken the extra 30 seconds to toss her "Lifeless body" that morning I cringe to think of the ordeal she would have gone through absorbing her yolk in a trash bag going through her first shed in a trash bag.. then starving to death or dieing of dehydration it makes me sick to the stomach..

But it also makes me smile to see her all growing and warm under her hide..
