Don't get me wrong, Pete is a legend in his own. A phenom breeder, and he is a really good dude to talk to. (we had some really nice conversations via telephone) and his prices are very fair. Just kind of "took a while" for me to get my boy.. Your experience?

Nice sunglow! I think you'll really enjoy having a boa.
Here's a pic of my sunglow.

It's like this lol. I've been waiting for a Sunglow since before Christmas. But I don't actually know why lol. My boa came directly from Pete but I didn't go through him.
I have a friend here in SLC that is a BP breeder that went to high school with Jeremy Stone. He told me he could get me a sunglow when I mentioned I'd kill to have one. (At the time I didn't realize the picture I was drooling over was a Kahl strain and that there is a distinct difference between a sunglow and a kahl strain sunglow.)
Then over the course of about a month he and I talked back and forth about getting me one and eventually I found out that Jeremy Stone had sold all of his but was able to get me a hook up directly from Pete Kahl.
After that it took another month almost before they dared ship it because the last time my friend had something come from out where Pete lives it came to his house frozen because the temperatures here where so cold.
In the end my snake actually got brought over here on a plane when one of the people in the group that helped me get this one (I don't know which one Lol) went out there to pick up a large order of snakes from Pete in person and then brought them back to SLC.
So I guess the short answer to your question is it took for ever but I don't know if that had anything to do with Pete. Lol... I'd also like to say that I'm not complaining about how long it took. I'd gladly have waited twice as long to get what I got. :P Sorry I couldn't give ya some better input lol.

I think it's everybody's dream snake :D Thanks for the comment.
He's so calm as well. I handled him for the first time the other day and he seemed completely content to just chill in my hand and relax. It's a completely different experience from the guyana rtb I had for a while.
