My newest pickup

Today I went to the Taylor MI reptile show and just could not pass up on this guy. He is a 10 Pewter and weighed in at 212 grams. He was purchased from Russ Renbarger of The Reptile Cellar. Russ was great to work with and gave me a great price. He had 2 pewters to choose from and I just loved the marking on this one. If you look at his pattern he has heart shaped markings down his sides and they just look cool. BTW sorry for the poor quality pic's. The combination of a cheap camera, and a poor photographer is a bad combo. lol

Now I have to fight the urge to handle him for the next week or two. I just hate waiting... LOL

The hearts were one of things that really made me want this pewter. It just looked so cool...

I noticed that I mess up on the post. lol It is a male. I had been looking for a new male, and when I found him I just had to pick him up.

He's really pretty! He looks really dark! :gj:

He seemed awful friendly when I handled him at the show. Hopefully he remains that way. I won't find out for a few more days...

Just a quick update on my newest guy. He seems to be settling in well, and he ate for the first time for me today. I always feel a little more relieved after new pick ups eat for the first time. He also shed this week. He has gotten a lot brighter than when I picked him up. I will try to get some new pic's of him soon....
