What type of Rex Rat is this
    Parents were both black rex's.

Entire litter are rex's or doubles and dumbo rexs.

But this female and another one but have this hair color with Red eyes.

Black X Black with red eye recessive makes Beige.
There is a host of other recessives they could carry too like Siamese but that one looks like a pink eye Beige rex to me.

Which gives them even more of a chance to make beige since they both obviously carry red eye recessive or they couldn't make a red eyed rat.

When the red eye recessive genes match up it changes them from black to beige color.

Red eyed rats don't sell well as pets or at least I haven't had much luck selling them in my area so I normally stick to Ruby eyed and black eyes with this boy as an exception.

I'm going to be breeding him to agouti next to make some agouti's that carry pink eye and then breed back to make some fawn rats(orange).

Pink eyed Siamese Rex Coat Male with a blue hooded female and a black eyed Siamese female.

    Very Nice,

Never hurts to try and see if anyone wants them. Most rats sold is this area are hooded or albino, nothing special.

I've fed way more red eyed rats than dark eyes, lol, but your correct, you might find a market for them all you can do is try and see.
If not you'll do like me and feed off more red eyes than dark eyes :P

Good luck, I have no problems selling rats as pets, there is a lack of pet quality rats out there and people really prefer buying from small breeders over pet stores.

Yep, i have 4 females who breed very well and get all jumpy/excited when they see me. These baby rex's are the same way when seeing me.

Heres the litter. 2 beige red eyes, 1 dumbo rex and rest just rexs

My friend Jenny would kill a man to get ahold of pink eye dilution. Anyone live near TN or VA have it?

I pull pink eyed rats for pinks or pups. They never even get to open those pink eyes. LOL. That is in my fancy rats anyway, which are mostly russian blue at this point.

In the feeder rat section I really don't care. No one cares when buying feeders what color the eyes are.

I'm slowing working on getting agouti out of my breeding group and focusing on the different color dumbos, dumbo rexs.
