Which one to pick?

I am so ready to buy a mystic potion.. Those 2 are produced by Steve Osborne

The problem is I can't go see them in person. Which one I should pick?

He told me the second one has more pattent and purple in her, which is what I want. But when I saw those adult pictures of them, they get darker when age, almost grey. So does that mean the lighter one will stay more purple when aged?

Please help me out. They both beautiful, that made it so hard.

Well they do tend to grey out sometimes. As for which one will retain colour better, heaven knows if the lighter one will stay more purple or not. I will say that the second one already does have quite a bit of grey on her already, so I'd go for the first (but I'm also a sucker for dorsal stripes, so...)

In the end, it's up to you. If you want to go for more intense colours and pattern, get the second. If you want more muted, go for the first.

Thank you very much guys. The other reason I am asking is I also like the #1 better by the picture, but she is cheaper then #2. When I asked Steve for the reason, he said because #2 is better looking in color and patten, so he wants more on her. So I am afraid they look different inerson, as I think #1 is hotter in picture.

That is why I am asking here. I think I will pick #1 and I am very happy to pay less :)

I like #2 because she has more pattern thats probably why they want more for it.

Definitely go with the one you like more. I personally think #1 all the way, she is super hot! The pictures are basically the same, the lighting, angle, everything looks the same.

You can always ask for another set of picks on a white background or something. I'm sure with the money you are going to spend they could take some time to take a couple more pics.

Id go for #1, since Im a sucker for stripes too. :) Either way, you can never go wrong with any of them. :)

I like number two but I like you don't know how their color changes, maybe the breeder can give you a better understanding of which one will be the hotter adult.;)

Personally, I like #2.

Color changes and can either grey or brown out or fade (depending on morph)

But pattern is there, and it makes it more interesting looking , to me.

But that is MY personal "like", you have to pick what you like, of course.

They are both pretty :)

Have to ad one thing...

If the decision is between 2 similar snakes and the breeder has both of them, ask him to make a new picture, with both snakes side by side. (or a couple of such pics)

When you see them together (side by side), you will automatically prefer one right away. Should help your decision...

Couldn't agree more. They are both beautiful snakes and you can't go wrong with either.....this is by far the most difficult decision to make, in my opinion (of course after you've decided on a morph, the breeder, the clutch, etc.).

Buy #2 so I can buy ONE!! Ha ha, honestly, I'd buy the first. That stripe and the muted pattern are a winner for me! But it's your choice. I like the idea of asking for pics of them together! and on a black background. Black always shows off lighter morphs well
