What to put w/ a pewter

Hey all, I'm just looking to a couple years ahead. I picked up a pair of pewters and was looking for some thoughts on what else to put with him. They are both cinnys so I was thinking of a female black pastel for one, maybe a fire?? Give me some ideas. I would like to get the females soon to grow up with them.

I'd get a female firefly or a lemonblast.

Super Pastel or pastel

Bumble bee? Makes some pewter bees? :D

Bee to a pewter will create soem better stuff than a pewter bee.

If not mistaken youll make sterling's with that since pastel is mixed in, and make pewter bees along with pewters

This. I was at Repticon looking for a Pewter myself, but couldn't find one I liked. I have a pastel girl, and instead of shooting for just pewters by buying a Cinnamon, I'm shooting straight for Sterling Pastels by skipping ahead and buying a pewter male.

Well aware of it, didnt want to type it all out due to black pewters will give the same product.

Well, I hatched out a female pewter this year. And her first year breeding, I'm pairing her with my savannah male (cinnamon mojave). The lesser super cinnamon looks great, so I bet a mojave super cinnamon will, too.

Plus there's the chance of making mojave pewters, pastave super cinnamons, and lots more stuff. It's a pairing that can't get here soon enough for me.

I've got a female bee, if I get a queen bee out of her this year I'll put her with the pewter next year maybe. Same with the Mojave girl, but she's still small (mouser).

Depends on your budget, for me I would pick between the followings Super Lesser, Pastel Lesser, POG, Lesser Hypo.

Seems like you are looking for another 2 gene female, and since you already have cinny and pastel, I think any other 2 non cinny and pastel co-dom gene female will make it interesting.

I'm liking the firefly idea the best so far. Maybe calico? Anyone have a picture of a calico pewter?

Pastel Lesser Orange Ghost would be pricey would be pricey!

Not sure many are out there for sale either now POG and SPOG are easier to find.

Butter fire? What's a butter fire pewter look like?

So I'm looking at a few; found a nice pastel YB, and a fire bee local, and a hot firefly. Thoughts? Other options? This one will most likely be my last purchase until after anything I produce this year sells. (I still have to get a hatchling rack built)

I agree with a Bee!

It's a pewter, everything you put with it could be kick ass. You didn't say how much you were wanting to spend on your new female, so that would certainly place limits on what you get. I like the Pewter Spotnose "Zebra ball" and Mojave Pewter "Savannah Mojave".

I would like to keep it under $800 unless it was a serious WOW! $1500 tops.

In that price range, a Mojave Spider, Spinner or CinnaBee would all make kick ass offspring.

I have a mojave/spider female and I was thinking about picking up a male pewter that would be a good choice

I've got a chance to produce a butter bee so I'm not sure I want to go that way.
