I hope the rest of the house has gotten more attention than this stairway. ;)

How dare you take this much time, what does your mother think of you? :O

There you were drinking 15-20 bottles of wine with your friend, while this stairway was naked for 3 years. I am disappointed. Well, not really. I had to beat up on you at least once.

    Looks good!

Cmon I have to spread it out.....my husband gets hives when I go shopping for the house. :D He's currently trying NOT to have a heart attack about the grand REopening of a store called Razmataz. OMG..... its THE store of stores. Careful....I might have to tell your wife about it. :D:D:D

Very nice!!! We've almost been in this house for three years and I still need to decorate two of the rooms, they are pretty much untouched. Although, I did manage to at least paint one of them.

Sounds like a perfect time for hubby to head out on a week long fishing/hunting trip. I cringe whenever my wife uses those words. Not so much for the actual redecoration, but how one item turns into 2, then 2 into 3, then 3 into repainting, new trim, new lights, then the new furniture ending.

When will women ever be happy with just changing a few pictures and drapes?

I dream of the day when we finally live someplace long enough to actually paint and decorate.

    Looks nice!

OMG....I think I would totally LOVE your wife. Probably a good thing that we don't live near each other. She sounds exactly like me when I get the bug!!! See the problem is you cannot just change 1 thing. It all has to change for the whole color thing to flow. So....if you want to change pillows....it ALL has to change....lol. Gosh...when will guys ever learn....

Thanks Judy.....it would drive me crazy!!!! When does the hubby get to retire?

Oh who knows?!? We've been at this for 20 years now. But so long as his career continues to move upward and he continues to get work in which he feels he is making a difference for our country....he'll go for as long as he can. So..... yeah.

Sometime this month, the results of his promotion board come out and we'll find out if he gets promoted to Colonel or not. Of course I want (and expect!) him to make it....but at the same time...if he doesn't, then retirement is suddenly very close indeed. But really...there's absolutely no reason for him to not be promoted.

Michelle, the one thing that I know for sure, 100%, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is that I will NEVER figure out women. I lied to myself for years, then one day decided that no matter what I do or try, my knowledge of women can be contained in a bottle cap.

I've also realized that everything is my fault. Regardless of whether I was there or not, it's all my fault.

So in summation, I've learned that the meaning of my life can be broken down into just 2 words... Yes Maam.
