Re: Feb: Havre de grace Reptile Show
Completely bummed. Got a call at 5:10 this morning telling me I had some trouble at work. Well, since I'm on call 24/7/365, I had to go into work. I just got home about 5 minutes ago. So that obviously means I didn't make it to the show.
Can anyone that attended tell me how it was. I was looking for a breeding sized Male Pied Ball.
Please tell me there were NO Male Pied Balls there. It will make me feel better.

WOW, that's amazing. I guess everyone has finally sold off their ball python stock. Did you see Greg Hall (BP.net member) selling there?
Thanks for the info!

No Greg wasn't there :( I usually stop by and chat for a while when he is. There were quite a few vendors that are usually there but weren't. A lot of vendors were at different spots too.

I've often wondered how long the vendors would be before they stop paying their table fees, when the show is so poorly attended.
I think every month may be just too often. Maybe have the show once every two months.

Re: Feb: Havre de grace Reptile Show
Having been to this show 3 times, IMHO it's starting to tank. Its the same people selling the same stuff for the same prices every month. Some people will deal, some will not so they will just continue to sit on those snakes.
This is the monthly Harve De Grace Show.... not Daytona. Most people walking in there have a couple hundred bucks... not thousands...lol
And the BP's are getting scarce. Maybe thats because the '11 stuff hasn't hatched yet or isn't ready but for the most part its all Corn Snakes, Lizards, and Carpet Pythons:( That and all the Feeder Vendors.
For what it takes for me to drive 3 hours 1 way, its not worth it. I will hit up the Manassas show this Saturday because its only 15 minutes from my house. I have to pick up feeders and bedding anyways so its win win. Plus I know some some VA Vendors selling BP's who are attending:gj:
