Clutch 1 of 2011 for me

Laid today. Pied X PH Pied. 6 eggs, 2 slugs. And now we wait...

Sure you can. My policy is to incubate everything. Doesnt hurt anything. Just how I roll.:D:D

Little marker, nothing crazy. I was told she might be het pied when I acquired her. Time will tell haha

I remember the first time I saw one of my female twisted up like that. I freaked out. Now I know it's a sign of good things to come.

People have hatched some pretty awful looking slugs, you never know!

Congrats and hope you prove out your ph pied! Your incubator looks just like ours. Is it a mini/RV fridge?

what are slugs ?

Slugs are unfertilized eggs! The two little ones on the bottom left of the box are the slugs! Good luck with those eggs and fingers crossed that some pieds pip!

Clark- she was 1800 grams, and got up to 2300 before she laid eggs.

Yeh, I'm just glad she made something. I've got 2 other het pied girls that have been breeding so even if this fails I can still have pieds.

It takes some balls to prove out the hets if you are not 100% sure, so good luck on that. Hope you get 2 pieds and 4 66% hets. :D

Thank you. There wont be any 66% hets though, the male was a visual pied.
