    Normal???
I'm pretty sure that this guy is a normal but at other times I'm not quite sure. A good friend of mine that knows a lot more about them than I do is also questionable about him. I am quite lacking in expertise so I wanted to get some opinions from you with a larger knowledge base than I.
Most of the "normal" that I have seen seem to have a copper hue to them, he is completely lacking any copper. After shed he is a light straw color on top of the black, then he darkens up to a greyish gold. He also has chocolate patches on the black, this seemed to be a fairly common trait among normals, not sure though. One thing, that I have no clue if it is typical with normals, is he has pink splotches on his belly (couldn't get a decent pic of them). As I said, I think he is a normal most days, others I question it. Especially with a few morphs that I have found that he closely resembles (don't want to name them in order to not cause biased opinions). Any opinions and expertise is greatly appreciated.

    Re: Normal???
Thanks everyone. I thought he was, but like I said questioned it sometimes. I don't know enough about them to keep the different little things from throwing me off. And thanks again to everyone who didn't answer by trying to be smart or funny. I obviously do not know a whole lot about the different morphs, so there is no need to try to make yourself feel superior.

One thing about "normals" that a lot of people don't realize or tend to forget, no two of them look alike.

I have one normal male who is so dark I could easily pass him off as a sable to someone inexperienced. I also have a normal girl who is so light she'd easily pass for a ghost.

I never get tired of the amazing differences in what I prefer to call Classics. :)

Gale, yeah after spending a couple hours scouring over pictures of balls, I've come to realize that there are about as many variations of "normals" as there are breeds of dog.
Curiosity got the best of me but, it doesn't break my heart, at all, him being "as normal as they get." I've never been much of a "I have to have the latest, greatest thing" kind of guy.
    Thanks again all.

It is a very nice reduced normal! 99% of the time when you buy a normals, you get a normal! Any experienced breeder knows what they have! Nothing wrong with a normal! That's what got most people started with balls!
