So I moved into my new house in the Fall sometime and I've been fixing up my reptile room. It stays at a pretty good temp during the day time and doesn't get too low at night. So here's some photos of my reptile room and some of the creatures in it:)

Very nice. I love the pics. I think the "pink toe" might just possibly give me nightmares tonight, but other than that one, I love them.

Very nice. I am currently working on a new reptile room myself. It is really nice to be able to have the space to have a room dedicated strictly for your reptiles.

Thanks guys I'm glad you liked it:)

Having a reptile room is definitely worth it, when I didn't have one everything was in my room. It's nice to have a room without animals in it Lol:P. Doesn't take too long to do everything though, 2 hours tops.

*It's feeding day too, I might post some pictures on this thread of that too:D

Congratulations, Tiffany.... I know you've been looking forward to having and designing a reptile room of your own for awhile now. Great job. Looks organized and easy to clean. Special thanks for including photos of the arachnids... that look like they're in nice, tight containers. :D

Good luck with your new collection room.

I am really jealous of your reptile room! Right now my cages and racks are in my bedroom. I also envy your collection!

Great job keeping everything looking clean, healthy and even some of the enclosures are pretty attractive. :gj:

Haha there's a whole 'nother wall to share!

He's actually doing fantastic, he can be pretty mellow sometimes and eats great. He actually just shed out a few days ago too:). Definitely a beautiful Hypo you produced, I enjoy having him:)

Thank you!! There's actually some more room on the other side of the room where I didn't take a photo of (wasn't much on that half of the room, just my rat and a big cichlid fish), but it's a pretty decent sized room.

Glad you liked it:)! The tarantulas normally seem to crawl through most of my visitors' skin LOL, guess people don't like them as much as I thought. They're neat though:)

I would love to keep expanding but unfortuneatly college has stopped me from that. Don't get me wrong, I love getting my education and am actually a Biology major and will either go the pre-vet road and specialize in exotics or get my PHD in herpetology.

But what do you plan to do with everyone when it comes time for college? If you dont mind me asking.

Yeah I see what you mean. And that's awesome, I definitely wanted to do the same thing you want to do. Now I can't decide whether to be a herpetologist or a psychologist.

I'll definitely have them all by the time I'm in college. Honestly I believe all of them are a whole lot easier to care for than a dog. Cleaning day only takes me just under 2 hours. I wouldn't live in a dorm, not just because of the snakes but for other reasons as well. If I were to have my own place they'd come with me:).

I have a few years to think about what I'm going to do so I'm not in any rush. But no matter how many I have by the time I'm in college I'll keep them all.

Thank you!! It doesn't actually take me very long to get everything done, like I stated above it takes just under 2 hours. If I'm changing out substrate then it takes a bit longer but it's not all that hard:).
