My new man!! Any ideas what he really is??
    http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...0&l=e4d851d24c

(I hope I did this right!!)

Here is my new man....Suppose to be a regular spider, but I believe someone made a mistake! Any ideas what he really is? The other photos are of my 0.1blk pastel Alice and my 0.1 pastel Twilight with the new little man Carlisle.

    What an interesting looking spider.
It looks like it has the leopard gene in it, i dunno, haven't seen a spider like that before.
    Great pickup! :gj: :gj: :gj:

Yep mirror outside! I can never completely get their colors to show up perfectly and I have a pretty expensive camera. This has turned out to be the best way for me...

Don't really care for all the spots but I like the high white...if there was something else mixed in, I'd guess Woma...

Wow he's insane. The color is really off and the semi-regular placement of the spots *can* be indicative of something else being mixed in.....Do you know what the pairing was with him?

(I was bored and put the pictures in for you, I use photobucket because it's the easiest, you upload the pictures then copy/paste the IMG link under the picture)

He looks like a busier spider. Some just have more spots than others. His high white sides are very nice though. I like the look of him.

Did you quarantine him before putting him near your established ladies?

That's true. His color is just so weird for a typical spider and those white sides are crazy! I've noticed that banded spiders and black back spiders tend to have higher white sides.

To the OP, breed him and figure it out for me! :P I would be tempted to look for subtle morphs that have back patterns like banded and black back from him.

You see so many reduced pattern spiders, I think seeing one that isn't reduced makes you think there is something else going on.

However, I would have snapped that guy up as well, he's just stunning.

Re: My new man!! Any ideas what he really is??
you bought him as a spider, he is a spider.

i dont know why everyone constantly thinks that the breeder, who bred the snake, messed up and gave them the wrong animal, which would be worth way more than what they payed for.

Well I will definately put him with my pastel and my blk pastel next year and see what happens. Fl Reptile Room was the breeder and they said it was a pastel x spider clutch and they originally thought he was a bee but his head kept getting darker (instead of fading) with each shed. I love him!!
Thank you to my hubby who had to force me away from talking (imagine that at a show :D) and run to buy him because he was way, way cheap and he knew I love my Spiders & Bees!
And thanks for the photo upload I didn't exactly know how...

Looks like a regular spider to me, but I really dig his light coloration and very high white sides. Impressive example of the spider gene. And I love the effect of mirror outdoors. :gj:

Really nice Spider! Love the high white and the spots. I think I have seen this snake (or one just like it) for sale on either Kingsnake or Fauna, cause I remember the spots and thought that was different.

What a deal and great surprise! 1 gene male turned out to be two. I thought his colors in the original photos looked too different to be a normal spider.
    Awesome! Congrats!

I just saw this thread now. I must have missed it on its first time around. I was thinking cinnabee personally. I guess I was close lol. I based that on his busy pattern and his white sides. I find most spiders sides get kinda yellow. His were white and very high. Usually a clue of another morph hidden in there. Good find! PICS OF BABIES!
