Where does everyone live?

I am a Florida girl, born and raised. I live in Jacksonville, in northeast Florida. You may know us by our convict football team, murder rates, or having 1 of 2 rivers in the world that flows north.

California gal.. Los Angeles now, San Francisco before. Up and down the state, nothing but love. :)

Born in Germany, lived in 28 states throughout my life and call Central Pa home now. Little town in the middle of nowhere called Lansford. Used to be a big coal mining town but now has nothing. 2 stop lights, a small grocery store, smaller convenient store and not a single fast food resturant for 10 miles!

SLC Utah Here and I'm going to have to contest the "Worst drivers in the world" claim, that's been Udot's moto for generations..... We're also known for Mormons... :(

And I was actually just going over some info I got at work today, and read that N Dakota has the worst drivers in the country.... This is based on # of fatalities over a 1 year period. It also takes into account the difference in the number of drivers in any given state.

Just food for thought.... My claim still stands, we may not have the most fatalities but we are well known for having crappy drivers (Especially in California.... Or so I'm told.). :P

Born & raised in small town "nowheresville" Texas. About 40 miles north of Abilene. Still live in the area. I have been through all the lower 48 states & 3 Canadian provinces when my husband drove a truck a few yrs. back. Two yrs. ago I got to go to my 49th state (Alaska) :gj: to my son's wedding.

We are supposed to be known for> Everything's bigger in Texas, but after getting to tour the U.S. I now know that is just not true! Oh yeah, we're also known for ex president George W. Bush :O :taz:, but he was a transplant so I don't think he qualifies. :rolleye2:

Im currently in AZ and have been for a number of years. However I was born and raised in Ohio. I will always be a buckeye through and through and I continue to try to talk my husband into moving back there. Nothing like growing up in NE Ohio on a ranch and I would LOVE for my son to experience that as well!!!!

Started out in NE, moved to Southern IL, and I am now in Bloomington, IL (Central IL). I am an expert on corn and soybeans. ;)

Born in Yuba City, CA. Raised in Colusa County for most of my life, lived in almost all towns. Colusa, Williams, Arbuckle, then up to Penn Valley/Grass Valley. Moved to NC for 6 months, came back. Now living in Lodi, CA for 6 years!

I hate how much the weather varies, but I love Northern California! Also, studies just came out saying Sacramento is the second highest place for accidents in the country. We just came down from first!

Not Lodi, just Sacramento. Lodi's pretty calm, aside from the occasional Hwy 12 accidents.

Stockton is one of the most dangerous cities in CA, lol. One of their PD officers just got arrested for selling steroids! He had been with the PD since 2004!

I was just talking to a friend about that officer the other day.

Last year was one of the most violent years we have had in long time, 48 homicides for 2010. The budget cuts really hit the Stockton Police Department hard causing a 50% increase in homicides due to laid off police officers.I lost two very close friends to the violence last year.
