2011 Hatchlings!

I havent seen anyone post any 2011 hatchling yet, so here it goes. Here is two females that just crawled out. A Pastel and an extremely badass normal. My Pastel Butter Spider has given me two clutches. The first clutch to a Lemon Blast was a bunch of slugs with a couple eggs going bad early and only one good egg. The second clutch to Pastel was I think 3 slugs, 3 eggs went bad, and 2 good eggs.

Total count - 0.1 Spider, 0.1 Pastel, 0.1 Normal.... 4 and 5 combo possibilities and I didnt even hit a combo! :mad: Gotta love that! :oops:

Well that sucks you didn't hit a combo or anything cool like that! But those those babies look great! I am loving the look of that normal! :) Very nice! :gj:

Thats what a lot of my normal babies came out looking like last year, then they all browned up :( Hopefully yours keeps some of that color :gj:

thats the normal.. the one on the left with the faded head is the pastel unless I am wrong.

The one on the right looks like a pastel and the one on the left looks like a super. Both are awesome looking

The "normal" doesn't look normal, and the pastel doesn't either, looks like a super! I wish I could hatch out snakes like that. Hope they keep that look for you :)

I think the reason you are not seeing alot of 2011 babies being posted is not alot have hatched. I'm waiting on my carry over clutch to crawl out of the eggs here soon. We cut them yesterday and it looks pretty good. Otherwise breeding didn't start for most very long ago.

Thanks everyone! The one of the left is a Pastel and the one on the right is a normal. I will post pics of the mom when they shed. She is a really nice blushed out Pastel.

Well, the ones you DID get are gorgeous, though !!!

I agree, they do not look like "normal" normals and pastels. Most normal hatchlings are very pretty before they brown out, but there is still something a bit "different" going on with yours. The normal has an all over orange tint, and that blushing !! Plus the head is blushed, too, just not as light as the pastel, more of a orangish.

I must say, your "normal" is quite exotic and different looking. And the pastel is very outstanding for just a pastel.

I think they are worth high-fiveing over :)
