What is going on with all the dead animals?
I heard about the thousands of dead birds in Arkansas, and the thousands of dead fish. Just now on the news I was watching the little reel on the bottom and it mentioned 2 million fish washed up on shore in Maryland. So what do you think is causing this? It is kind of weird that suddenly thousands of fish die in a river of unknown causes, though they are saying it could have been a disease, and then only a few days later 2 MILLION fish wash up on shore in Maryland, dying from what they think is a rapid decline of the water temperature.

What are your thoughts on this?

bp oil spill is my most likely suspect, pollution is pollution, doesn't matter if you just cover it up with sand and uses chemical more deadly than the oil itself, to make the oil sink so you can't see it, i just didn;t think we would see the effects so early

you guys should see the conspiracy forum on this topic.... holy crap lol

This is really scary, some think it's the oil spill. Others think the New Madrid fault line is to blame, either way it's sad.

it kinda reminds me of that movie the happening where he was talking about all those bees disappearing each year and no one knows why and he was saying that it was an act of nature that we will never fully understand.

but i didnt know it was that many different places i just thought it was arkansas. it could be the government just trying to make people worry tho

    Hi,

As said it is also happening in the UK, sweden and other countries.

And it is various types of birds, fish and crabs involved so far.

I have no idea what has caused any of them but seen as one cluster with an possible root cause it is scary as all get go. :worry:

Seen as a collection of discrete events it is less so but even more puzzling.

its global warming. all this hot weather is messin with the animals. oh wait, it just snowed all over the place.

i learned in the army that unusually high numbers of dead animals in one area is a sign of biological weapons in the area. on that note im gonna put on a gas mask and take a nap, if you survive ill see you when i wake up. good luck

I'm not a biologist or an earth scientist, but I'm thinking it's something solar/magnetic. Both fish and birds have been documented to have a sense of magnetics, particularly the magnetic north, so perhaps something happened to that. Many of the reports of deaths say the birds were stumbling about and crashing into cars and power lines. Obviously, we don't know the full extent of their magnetic sense, but it could be hardwired in to their brains and difficult to function with change.

    Again, I'm only a computer scientist! :P

x2 I agree, I think it's something magnetic! Like an electrical shock somehow, I to have heard of reports most of the birds died of blunt trauma.

Re: What is going on with all the dead animals?
Some scientist say it might be some sort of disease.

I think it might be from the recent cold, but who knows for sure...

It's sad hearing about all the fish dying, especially since marine life is already beyond strained from overfishing.

Re: What is going on with all the dead animals?
As I understand it, the Ark birds story was somewhat proven to be solved. The story goes, fireworks were the cause. The article I read said that the birds began to takeoff and fly after numerous firework displays. And since birds don't normally fly at night, the ended up fly into things and each other. The report said that all died of blunt force trauma.

So, I guess if you believe the story, it's not something spooky that caused this.

As far as the fish in Maryland, it happens all the time. The Chesapeake Bay isn't in the greatest shape. We get fish kills all the time. Sometimes it's because of low oxygen levels, other times it a sewage leak/spill and other times, it nothing more than a disease affecting a certain species of fish.

I can't speak for the other 3 katrillion animals that died, but I would bet that most if not all are natural.

But I can't speak for anything that happens after December 21st next year. ;)

1111 is the tap on the shoulder. I've been feeling it since early 2001.

12/21/2012 is the day (add up the digits...g'head.) The alignment happens at precisely 11:11 Zulu

This is all just a sign of things to come.

    (Or not....)

if FIREWORKS were truly this case, this would happen in all the major cities all over the world on EVERY big holiday. Canada Day, Independance Day, New Years, Halloween, etc.

I retract my bp oil spill theory (even tho i still think everyone in management in that company should still be locked up for life for crimes against humanity)

i think this is a way better explanation and for saying its happening too early... check out this article. http://www.sott.net/articles/show/22...-Tampa-Airport

if just seems to effecting fish and birds, this makes alot of sense, now if we can only understand it lol.

also check it out mapped http://voices.washingtonpost.com/blo...le_map_ed.html

this is something global, it can't be explain by fireworks or disease or w/e

It is def. a scary thing. Maybe its the radical change in the temps. ....here in AZ we went from 74 to snowing in a day. (and no...we do not typically get snow). I mean we knew it was coming but wow what a difference in 24 hours. Also there are so many viruses going around that are mutating....maybe it was something like that. Didn't they prove that there is some type of virus knocking out the honeybees. ??

they say the birds had blunt force trauma to their organs. what do you think happens when you fall from the sky and smack the ground? blunt force trauma. i dont think that is what killed the birds, that is just what happened when they hit the ground. i think it has something to do with the magnetic field.

I believe it's from our sun's increased solar activity. When solar flares or anything from the sun hit our O-zone with enough oomphh! it causes our earths magnetic field to go all haywire and guess what animals rely on the magnetic field to navigate etc......you guessed it fish and birds. I believe these animals died due to a solar incident. NASA's website says 2010-2011 will be the suns solar maximum, which isn't good for living things like you and me. On August 1, 2010, an entire hemisphere of the sun erupted. And NASA says it's the biggest eruption to record. There only said to continue through the year, but they believe they have found a better way of accurately predicting when one will happen.
