Thanks mate :) I've always known he's a cinny but I'm pretty certain theres something else in the mix lol the down side is I know absolutely nothing about him except he came from a breeder in the states. Test breeding is a deffo with this guy :D

i was just about to ask if that was a African caught import. i dont even know how to describe it but it looks like its gonna be an awesome project to work with. :gj::gj:

Lol mate he does look like an African import but from what I know he's 100% CB :) I'm looking forward to getting him with my pastel and a couple of normals to see if I can find out what else is in the mix fingers are crossed. But I'm also open to ideas on what he could be ;)

Hes so dark its insane! Maybe put him with a spider? I don't know enough yet about morphs and breeding to be helping you with what to put him with. I let someone else do that :P
I love his head. Its straight black!

Thanks :) I love his head as well it's wicked almost like a Super Cinny head :D
I'm always welcoming input from anyone and everyone, I don't care on how much experience you have and I won't judge you any differently :) I think a Spider cross will be one in the future :D I have an intense gold Spider but he's male :( so will have to get me a couple of females I think.

He definitely looks like hes got something in him. I would guess cinny too. Ive got a lesser which unfortunately pics dont capture his color but hes definitely something special too (daddy was wild caught). Hope there's something else cool in there for you too. Either way hes stunning.
-
great looking cinny you got there for sure, dont see many that dark.

Hi, Thanks for the comments
I know he is definitely a cinny but a cinny x ? or just a plain cinny is the question lol he seems to get darker with each shed has no eye stripes ( like every other cinny ive seen) has a *dirty* (for want of a better word) neck and chin and a clean belly. Any ideas what else he has in him would be great :)
People have come up with chocolate, super chocolate or sable x cinny, but never seeing one of those combos in the flesh i cant comment myself.
-
I've seen chocolates that look that dark? :weirdface
-
i have no clue wat to say about this but i know that this cinny paired with a similar cinny would make a SUPER DARK super cinny i would have to say it would be darker than a Super black pastel
-
Wow he's insane!!! I'm trying to think of what mix makes a snake like that. I was thinking I've seen one like this in the past that was a cinnyx....
AH found it!!!
It's the super sable though.....hmm, very odd. He does look similar to them.

Thanks Dan, You see why I'm on the fence line with this little guy ;) The only thing I know for sure is he's a Cinny but only have a rough idea what the mix could be.

I will be holding back most of his off spring from this season so fingers crossed a few females pop out looking like him so we can see how dark we can get them :D

Thanks :) The Super Sable could be a match when mixed with the Cinny :) A few characteristics indeed :D A friend did say Cinny X YB but he doesn't have that YB look to him lol.

Thanks but can I just ask what are you thinking ? To be honest with you if he proves to be something then bonus but if he doesn't then theres no loss because I needed a cinny in my collection and I just happened to get a unique one :D

First Im no expert in determining morphs. :) But you really have a very unique animal there. Its head is typical to cinnies; the pattern are cinny-lookin too which are quite similar to mojos; the flames are visible but have different tone (like it was burnt or something like that); the scales beneath its neck looks darker than usual, like it has some grey hue on it (or Im the only one seein it? :)); and its overall darkness, like in sables; plus its also similar to a chocolate, but I havent seen chocolates in person.
But regardless of what I said, for me he's worth of test breeding. My choices are to a normal, cinny, pastel, spider and maybe mojo. If he turned out to be "just" a cinny, then Im sure you'll still be lucky to have super cinnys, pewters, cinnabee and savannahs that hopefully as dark as him. :gj:

Temp
i think you should bring him to my place, and we can compare our balls!

Re: Freshly Shed Cinny ( Ideas )
Firstly thank you for a detailed response :)
I know what you mean about what you have said with regards to mojo's. Believe it or not under his neck ( The photograph didn't catch it very well ) is like charcoal dust and looks dirty, I do how ever have a pied who's got the same. I've had a couple of people say he's just a plain cinny which yes he could well be but for him to catch the eye of Ralph Davis says something :) Plus I want to make more like him he looks creepy yet cool :D

He will be most certainly be bred to a normal to see what pops out will also put him to a pastel this season. At the moment I don't have any other cinnys or a female spider ( I do have a female mojo but shes going to my pinstripe for jigsaws lol )
Anyone ever found the more snakes you buy the more snakes you need ? I bought the Cinny and now need a female spider, Cinny another Mojo lol :D

Thanks Aes :) Unfortunately no parent pictures all I know is he came from the states via a friend of mine who then sold him to someone else I know then they sold him to me ( God knows why someone would sell the little guy in the first place but I'm glad they did ) From what I know about him is he was dark when he first arrived in the UK but just kept getting darker and darker with each shed. from a distance he looks jet black ( I'm looking at him now at about 5 ft away ) it's only when you get closer you can see the pattern.
