The first snake looks like an albino to me, and the patterns seem different? Maybe I am just being too much of a novice. Lol. The eye color change...I didn't know that ever happens. Pretty snakes though.

I would like to edit my post but am not allowed for some reason. Finally finished that loooong thread linked in the first post. Awesome. I STILL can't tell the difference between albino babies and toffee babies...but very cool color change.

LOL...no, he knew exactly what he had. But when the first baby pictures were posted, some of us were skeptical and worried that there had been a mix-up somewhere.

I know im new but how did its pattern change so much? it went from having a vertical like like a mojo to having bands..? And if that is the same one what will it look like in 5 yrs O_o? its like that wierd paint that changes colours in the light lol instead of light its age.

That's great. Hurry up and produce a ton of them so I can afford one in a couple of years. :D

I'm very happy for you, I can't wait to see those mixed in with other morphs. Can you imagine that as a clown? I wonder what axanthic would do to it, Toffee snow anyone?

I kind of agree..... the whole pattern is different. I don't know much about the morph though.

I think it's really hard to compare the patterns in those pics because the positions of the snakes are so different. But I trust the guy posting the pics, and worst-case-scenario, he accidentally posted a sibling picture rather than the right baby picture. I do believe they are the same morph that has undergone a dramatic color change. Can't wait to add one to my collection someday! :P

Now, I know her color change is already amazing, but do you think she'll continue to change and eventually end up the cream-and-beige of the original ?

I still hope to have one someday, maybe around the time I can produce some axanthic pieds you'd be interested in a trade?

BOTH are banded. No Idea if that pic was the female or the sibling male as just wanted to show the difference. The pattern changes because the colour does. The lightest pattern becomes the darkest and therefore will highlight the pattern in a completely differnt way and makes it look a whole lot different. Just in case there is anyone that wants to see the identical snake here is the same one, look at the tail stripe. I can't post the male as he is FAR too busy :taz:

I was bored at work so I decided to read the whole previous thread as well...
Congrats!! Your investment payed off, and many sceptics were proved wrong in this transformation! Well done for sticking to your choice and not being discouraged by all the sceptisism.. I am sure many of the sceptics are just as glad, that they were wrong! Coz now they have got a new morph to spend their savings on.

I haven't to be honest mate as they are so different and can you imagine selling a load of DH Albino/Toffee. You would be gutted when your Toffee just stayed Albino :tears:
