    Living Art, bloopers...
As I was holding my Pastel Yellowbelly "Jag" today I couldn't help but admire him. I was thinking to myself that snakes really are "living art", so much more beautiful then any jewelry could ever be. That inspired me to wrap Jag around my neck as a beautiful living necklace, which would be a great pic to send to my sis, who is a jewelry freak ;)

Well, Jag had other plans. Little bugger wouldn't hold still for 1 second, LOL. All I got was a bunch of blooper pics, blurry or only parts of Jag visible. They still show his beautiful color and pattern, though, and how much he has grown. He is an EXCELLENT eater !!

Of course , as I'm typing this, he is fast asleep around my neck

Here goes Jag, living art ! If only he had been sleepy then !

I can't wait until its warm enough once again to make outdoor pics. They always show off the true colors so much better . That boy is a really pretty snake and on top of that, he's sweet and a good eater. What more can one ask for ;)

So true, I need to make some GOOD pictures of them, that do them justice !! Can't wait for spring when it gets warm enough to make nice outdoor shots :)

Blast boy (poor dude still has no name, LOL) is in shed, and so is the spider. But I'll try to make better pics of Jag and Lestada...

How is your baby coming along ?? We need to chat again, now that my company has left and things are going somewhat back to normal :)

Awesome pattern and blushing on that one.

I have had the "living art" thought before, though in my mind I was thinking "living paintings." The idea of snakes appearing "gross" or "scary" to anyone blows my mind. They are GORGEOUS, even the most humble of colorations and patterns...so sleek and elegant. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't really use my BP's as jewelry, LOL. Poor babies.
As he slithered over the skin it just made me think how much more beautiful they really are compared to any man-made art, like jewelry.

My sister was telling me how she cannot fathom how anyone would spend thousands on a snake. I told her I cannot fathom how anyone would spend thousands on a piece of gold that hangs around your neck or arm. LOL
I'm not much into jewelry, handbags or designer anything ;) I do think a BP makes for a much more beautiful thing one could have hanging around the neck , though... :D

I agree with the "sleek and elegant" sentiment :)

since these pictures did NO justice to Jag, here are a couple I snapped today. Still not comparable to good outdoor pics, but they do show him off a bit better :)
