    Greetings from Toronto!
    Hey Everyone!!

New to the snake world - Christmas morning came around and to my surprise all the talk of me wanting a snake after all these years came true. My wifey got me a ball python and all the fixings to get started and get the little guy acclimatized to his new habitat. He is a healthy 3 month old male we named 'Tango'. I stumbled onto this website looking for recommended methods for husbandry, feeding etc. and figured I would join the community.

Growing up on a horse ranch animals became a passion of mine and it was only a matter of time before I entered the reptile world.

Looking forward to all the tips and tricks you all have to offer!

    Cheers and Happy New Year!

Welcome to bp.net, and big congrats on your first snake! If you have any questions, ask away, there are many great people here who are more than happy to help out with anything.

One word of warning, though: today you might be content with one ball python, but tomorrow you may find yourself up to your neck in all sorts of snakes that seem to appear on your doorstep. ;) It's definitely an addiction!

I can already feel the addiction - There are so many beautiful combinations of BP's out there I can see how easy it is to become a collector. I love animals, but have always been 'reptile shy' .... not anymore. :D
