    Is this a PewterBee?
Hey guys is this a pewterbee? Also, what do you think would be a fair price for a snake like this?

Well, it looks a LOT like the photo on World of Ball Pythons of a Pewterbee. As far as price ?

    High, very high. :D

Oh wow he's awesome. I agree that he looks pewter, the spider doesn't jump out at you, but the last half of his body looks spidery! He's super sweet!!!

Alright, so here's the deal, I've been talking with Clark Tucker (Power House Reptiles) about this male, but I'm not sure if its the real deal.. Anyone have experience with these guys? Mods if this is not allowed or the wrong place for this question please let me know. Thanks.

IDK, because he looks like NERD's pewter bee, the spider doesn't jump out and slap you in the face, but you can see it on the last half of the body. And look at the middle pic in the bottom row, you really can't see any spider. http://newenglandreptile.com/nerd/in...ewter-bee.html

I don't see an issue with this thread, just as long no sales are talked about. Asking opinions is fine.

Oh I see what you are saying now. I have definitely heard the name before, but can't say I know much more than that. You can check out the business section and see if anyone has wrote anything about them there. If not fauna has a good business section. You might not get too many replies here just because it's Christmas and the forum is lacking attendance a bit lately ;)

I did find this though. I know it's not the same guy, but I assume they work together? From what I read it doesn't sound great, lol. But I'm going to bed so good luck in your search!

I have not yet to see a septer bee that you can realy see the spider in.. It's wierd.. Wonder if the cinni or black pastel just covers it up some.

That is one awsome looking snake!!

Looks like a pewter bee to me. Spider gene doesnt do dramatic changes when mixed to cinnys or black pastels. If you will refer to cinnabees, it really doesnt do much changes compared to bumblebees, other than the slight change on the sides like the one on the pic.

This is a tough call. To truly confirm this you will most likely have to wait :(

But it could easily be a pewterbee! If it is, and you find the right guy, I'm sure you could practically name your price!
