intro and pics!

Hey all,

Got my first Royal this march around 5 months old, after being fascinated for a few years now. she's growing nicely still on large mice at the mo and nearly 3ft. since donig more research i've now become even more fascinated with them and hoping to breed from her with a pastel in the future. cheers [:D]

Cheers, does she look like a normal bp? really want her to be a secret het of some kind! any visual clues that coould suggest this? :confused:

She's a reduced pattern for sure. No one could tell you if she was het for anything, none of the het markers are strong enough/accurate enough to judge.

Welcome to bp.net:) Im a big fan of striped bps. And she definitely caught my attention. Without the guarantee of the breeder, we really cant tell if a normal is indeed a het. But she's a keeper for sure. :)

Thanks all for the warm welcome, i did read that the stripe was a characturistic of a lemon but not sure on the truth? the addiction is definately sinking in! lol just thinking of new combos... how about chilli butter? FIRE X BUTTER has it been done? :snake:

I'd rather have that normal than some morphs! look at that fantastic stripe and her pattern is SO clean! she will make beautiful pastel babies, i think her coloration and striping will look amazing if she can pass them on to babies. Don't be sad she's normal, she's not your everyday normal!

A lemon pastel? She's fine just the way she is, ha ha! Don't think she's a morph persay...

Thanks again for your comments, I do think she's awesome and do appreciate her everyday, I chose her out of the clutch just for her stripe, she was the only one like it! I agree if she can pass her pattern on, a super pastel could be something special! :rolleyes:
