Who is your Ball python breeder???
I am just networking to see who has ordered snakes online and who do u order from......Or if your a breeder wats your website i am just being curious to see will some breeders stand out over the rest?? would like to hear from everybody on this one
-
Well I think the most famous ones are NERD and BHB. I don't have a certain breeder I buy from, I buy from lots of people, depend son the animal. In my collection, I have ball pythons from BHB, Exotics by Nature, Brad Boa, and rest is from just regular small time breeders on the forum...oh one was given to me by a friend.

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I only live about 20 minutes from BHB so that is usually where I pick up my Ball Pythons. Brian always takes that time to show off some of his new projects, and just to bs a little. I always have a great time there.:D

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I purchased from 8 Ball Pythons, Morph Makers, Tony's Pets (local show), and a few people on this site.
-
Fragindragon (on this site), Florida reptile room and 1 I picked up at a show but the snake made it through 2-3 people before I got her so I have no clue where it originated.. :(
-
If you really care to know who I've bought from I have the breeder listed under every one of my BPs on my collection page. "Steve" is an Iowa breeder and doesn't have a website.
I mostly buy from people in the area because I'm friends with them and they are much farther along than I am so they usually have what I'm looking for. I can also just go for a 20 minute drive to get the snakes!

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I buy all my ball pythons from Ben Siegel Reptiles in Pompano Beach, FL. He does ship and is on Kingsnake, facebook, etc. Whatever I want he gets.

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I buy mine from
www.heathersherps.com
www.blueappleherps.com
Heather (ladyohh) and Matthew (blueappleherps) are great people to work with and produce quality healthy animals. They also are active participating members of this site and Heather is a moderator.

All 6 of my ball pythons are from rjs73 on here, and on bush league.

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I buy mine from many different breeders on Kingsnake.com.
-
Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I've bought from Garrick @ Royal Constrictor Designs, and Scott from Serpent City. Both were awesome during the whole transaction... especially Garrick who was patient and extremely helpful while I made up my mind between 3 different snakes :P
-
Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
If you are planning on purchasing online, you should first check them out on Fauna's Board of Inquiry (BOI). Many people post about their transactions with different breeders on the BOI, good or bad.

Glad to hear everyones input
Thanks alot

I can't enough good things about:
Frankie @ Fat Boy's Ball Pythons and Michelle @ Art In Scales.
http://www.artinscales.com/
http://www.fbballpythons.com/
Both are very pleasant people, willing to work with you and are are quick at responding to email and phone calls (if they don't answer, normally they do)
I have done business with alot of breeders (and had conversions with them). These 2 stand out to me over the others. Never had done with business with RD or NERD so I can't speak on them but I have done with BHB. I personally will never buy from BHB again.

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I got my first from a local pet shop
The next 6 I got from royalconstrictordesigns.com *Garrick Demeyer*- Excellent quality(atleast the ones I got)
Then 2 more from Brian(BHB) at Tinley '10 - fantastic animals and deals
Another at Tinley '10 from SN Snakes - had an issue, I was sold a male as a female, but that problem was immediately solved when I told them about it, they were very professional and would do business with them again!
Finally 2 more just a few weeks ago from Royal Q Pythons(monk90222) - Great animals and good deals!!

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I have bought from Daniel Allison, a great local breeder. And I have bought from Mike Jolliff. I did buy a snake off of kingsnake.com last year but I can't recall the breeders name. I didn't like the experience of buying online. Too much worry of is the snake gonna arrive ok and what if I'm not happy with the snake. I just like buying a snake in person.
-
Ive gotten several from Garrick at royalconstrictordesigns.com and I'm going in a few weeks to pick up five more. Great guy! And a couple rescues from craigs. One I got from work (animal control) it was crawling into a gas station.

LOL I am trying to find breeders here in SATX for the same reasons.
I have picked 4 of ours from my little hole in the wall http://www.petfrontier.com/
and one off of CL.
Would be nice to have someone to talk to and sit down with face to face (not that I dont like all of you:groinkick:headbang::headbang:), just guess I am looking in all the wrong areas:tears:
-
I have only dealt with Frankie from Fatboy Ball Pythons Nicest guy you will ever deal with he has answered all my emails very quickly (believe you and me i sent a buttload) very professional.
That being said there are a few people i have emailed about purchasing BP's and it took 2-3 days to get a reply i wont name names but i would beware buying a BP because you never know who your buying from.
Do your research ask around if need be and you will be just fine :gj:

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
i have dealt with lots of breaders over the years. some good some not so much but if i had to choose i would say Urban Reptile. we have bought a couple of animals from them in the last year and they are great to deal with, offer great support for there clients and any troubles they may have. and most importantly have rock solid animals that eat like pigs and grow like weeds.
-
Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I've gotten 4 of my 11 from Outback Reptiles.
I used to get them from Tony Hurt at Snake Evolutions, but I think he bowed out.
-
Garrick @ Royal Constrictor Designs is getting alot of love and Fat boy's ballpython is too....Thanks for everyone's input u guys were really helpfull to me

I've purchased my Morphs from
www.rockstarreptile.com
Ted and Theo passed a lot of knowledge on to me. Plus, living 15 minutes from them makes things easy!

I recently purchased an 05 pastel from justin kobylka at jkr. he is about 2 hours from me so it's pretty convenient but he ships just about anywhere. I've known him for about 2 years now and can vouch that he takes excellent care of each bp in his collection and any of his snakes would make a fantastic edition to your collection!

I Bought one of my snakes from 8 Ball Pythons, And reptile shows.
-
Ballpython777 was my first BP purchase. Maki at pacific coast reptiles sold me an AWESOME pastel! I recommend checking out the BOI before buying from anyone, obviously, but had very good experiences with them!

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I enjoy doing business with the Snake Keeper, always answer calls and emails promptly and are very friendly. I recently purchased a SGR line Lesser male Breeder from the Sloan Brothers Justin and Nick from Sloan Reptiles and the transaction could have not gone better. Extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with answering any and all questions you have.

Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
I have bought snakes from Tim Bailey-baileyreptiles.com, Sean from Exotics by Nature, Dan Craft from Emerald Coast Exotics, and Emily Cook from Cookreptiles.com
-
Sean Bradley, Tim Bailey and Albey Scholl. A+ to all of them. :D
-
has anyone heard of decent morph breeders in the uk (south)?
-
Re: Who is your Ball python breeder???
Albey..Half of my collection has been bought from him, and the other 60% is from breeding 2 of his snakes together. Always has the nicest stuff and is great to bs with. Also bought from Charlie Q, great lesser girl and very smooth transaction, also another good bs'er. Too many other people I'd like to deal with to list them all but Colin Weaver(ECRB), Ozzy Boids,Matt Lerer(GHI Reptiles), Frankie and hell, maybe ole BG someday are on the short list
