I have the coolest bal python ever!
    Well not really haha!

I'm sure lots of you think that yous is the best, and so you should because they all are amazing in their own ways! I just wanted to share why I love my pastel male so much. Well for example right now, he is right next to me lying up against my side in between my g.f and I. He has been lying in the same position for the last hour, and doesn't move even after I pet his head and his body. He's just sitting observing his surroundings and without a care in the world. He's always doing this kind of stuff, and I wanted to share to see how yours hang out with you. It really makes me wonder if they have something in their brain that allows them to trust, and just retain an overall comfort around humans. These guys are just too cool!!

Hera likes to chill out on my shoulders and watch me play games on the computer. I do think that they learn to trust us a bit as when I got Hera she was VERY head-shy, but now I can stroke her chin and get near her head and she doesn't freak out at all.

Btw, sometimes when I have her around my neck she squeezes all her muscles at once and it seems like she is choking me (of course she actually isn't) does this mean anything? She only does it every once in a while and to me it's like a massage, but I don't know if she is trying to tell me something or not.

Your getting choked because he is just readjusting his body around your neck, and that means he has to squeeze you to move.

My pastel loves to hang out around my neck. The bee on the other hand is very curious and wants to explore 24/7. When she's out she just wants to go go go!

still workin on gettin a bp but my iguana will chill on the bed or in the reclinerwith me and watch tv, or during the warm months she sits on my arm while it rests on the window of my truck and hang her head out with her toungue flappin like a dog and when she get tired of that she passes out either in the back seat or on the dash...she went on a 900 (one way) mile road trip over the summer from indiana to florida and did just fine and loved the views :D

We have our Elizabeth (first one) that thinks she is human and should be out all the time. I even think sometimes she has figured out if she eats she has to stay in her bin for 2 days... (she weighs her options...lol) She believes she should be in bed with us...and she should be able to hang out touching both my hubby and I and watch tv. She is such an ambassador for the species I swear. Whenever she gets out of her cage she has to climb up on us and give us lil kisses then she just chills out as if she is one of the kids. Truly the strangest unlike snake I have ever met.
