She's an Indonesian locale. The more common ones in petstores are the Northern and Irian Jaya.

Sheila has always been a pretty good eater. The only time she really doesn't like to eat is when she is shedding. BTS can be picky sometimes. I also have to use some tricks to get her to eat some of her veggies, such as mixing in turkey or chicken baby food to coat the veggies so they taste better.

Yeah, that seems to be the case with most Indos.
In my opinion, they are one of the more attractive blue tongues...I've never understood why they aren't CB more often..

Also, just wondering how you came to know the sex of your BTS?
I always assume mine if female, because s/he seems small in comparison to pictures of known male Indos that I have seen, and the underside of the base of her/his tail is very firm.. (apparently due to lack of hemipenes) Buuuut, thats just me taking a wild guess lol I wish they were more sexually dimorphic!

From what I've been told by breeders of BTS, you really can't tell the sex unless you see a sperm plug in a single animal's enclosure, happen to observe a hemipene while he is excreting/urinating or your notice breeding behavior or that the female is gravid.

I have a CBB Indo and it is a little pisser! Wish it'd chill out already ;)
