wow ive never seen one like that! very pretty!

100% not a blizzard. I would guess either a tremper, rain water or bell albino.

Tremper albino mack snow is my guess.....

Re: What morph is this?
Are eyes that color typical of albino morphs in leos? Forgive the newbie question. I don't know much about leo morphs, but those just don't look like "albino" eyes to me.

I wish I had a good pic of my tremper.... Her eyes look just like that color of the animal is on as well... I may get pics and post em later

So the "tremper albino" doesn't have the red/pink eyes of a typical albino animal? Are there other lines of albino leos that do have red eyes? Just trying to learn...one little bit at a time. :D

Hi Judy,
Yes, Tremper Albino leos generally have silverish eyes with thin red veins. They also were the first "albino" leopard geckos discovered/created...and that was by good ol' Ron Tremper.
Bell Albino eyes are a light pink color usually. Rainwater Albinos have darker eyes with lots of thick, dark red veins.
There ARE some types of albinos that have solid red eyes. For example, the RAPTOR (Red-eye Albino Patternless-Stripe ORange) can have 2 solid red eyes. They can also have "snake-eyes" meaning half of the eye is solid red, and the other half is red with sort of a pattern. APTORS are the same thing as RAPTORS, but they don't have any part of their eyes solid. However, it's still an albino.
Albino is a pretty broad term when it comes to leopard geckos, and can get kind of confusing. Which is one of the reasons we try not to cross different strains of albino when breeding. So I guess the answer to your question is yes, there are LOTS of different kinds of albinos that have different types of red eyes.

By the way, I also agree that the leo looks like a Tremper Albino...but a nice eye shot would confirm it for me. Maybe the person who brought it in meant it was HET for Blizzard?

Man I hear ya.... Compared to ball python genetics leopard gecko stuff is more difficult becasue you have line bread traits, and stuff like Raptor 3 different recessive traits all compiled into one animal.... it gets complicated..... I actually have lots of raptor projects coming up this year, and am eager lookin forward to seeing those super raptors (super snow raptors), snow raptors, and Dreamsickle(snow enigma raptor) all with their little rubycolored eyes.....

Re: What morph is this?
Thanks for the excellent info!! That actually answers a lot of confusing things! :D

What morph is this?
Bell Albino, probably incubated at a low temp. Beautiful though.

From the pics it looks like a tremper mack snow. Small chance it's a Las Vegas(rainwater) albino. I'd have to get a really good pic of the eyes. Even then it would be guess until it's bred to a know albino.
