    Pick one of the two!
    Need your expert opinions

gonna pick up one of these 2010 female bees. Can't decide between the two. Which one would you pick?

female #1 is on the top-left and female #2 on the bottom-right

I don't see enough of a difference in color or patter to say one is better than the other. I'd pick the one that is feeding better:gj:

They're very similar in appearance, so I have a feeling that you'd be happy with whatever you ended up with. In other words, there is no "wrong" choice. :P I'd probably pick #2 if someone just walked up to me and said, "Which one do you want." And Brandon's suggestion about inquiring into if one is a stronger eater than the other is a good one to consider.

Honestly they have a lot of brown on them, which leads me to believe they will brown out a ton as they get older. But if i HAD to choose between the 2, i would go with the nicer one temperament wise and the stronger feeder. They both are very similar.

No. 2 is my pick: 1. Her pattern is more refined; 2. She looks bigger; 3. She looks stronger with that pose. :)

Johny 5 is alive! LOL! Seeing the number one or two made me think of Short Circuit the movei! LOL! Guess I'm showing my age! But, back to the topic! Hmmmmm....number one! I think she looks darker in the pictures! But, number two has some nice dot's!

Interesting to me that everyone else likes female 2! I prefer female 1 because I don't like any spotting on my bees. But I also like the advice to get the one that's a better feeder. :gj:

thanks for all your opinions everyone. very much appreciated. I'm a noob when it comes to what best represents the morphs.

Larger female is 98grams, and the smaller one is... well smaller:P didnt get a weight on her

breeder says they're both pounding back rat pups

i think female 2 is more yellow? what do you guys think?

breeder lives 4 hours away so she'll be shipped.

#2 has more yellow so will hold it longer! Myself I would get a different bee because at that age they should be brighter in color!

Depends on the quality pastel genes going into it (not always the case) but for the most part if the parents are browned out then the babies will follow. Ask for sire and dam pics.

Definitely I'll pick no.1, because I love reduced pattern but it depends on you. Both are pretty!

I was pretty much thinking the same thing. If your looking for a pet and to say I have a bee then these will work as long as the price is right. If your looking for a breeder I would broaden my selection by getting some pictures from other breeders, since you are already looking at having it shipped.

Now my bumble bee is about 6 months old and when I got him he was more dirty looking and darker, its why I picked him. Well now with every shed hes getting brighter and losing his dirty look. So you never know whats going to happen to them until they are grown The pic is when I first got him, I'll have to get an updated pic after he digested his food.

sweet i'll def be looking forward to your pics!

I think i might go for the larger one, just for the size and she looks more yellow.

well i would go looking for another bee but at the price of 450 she was quite a steal.

I think it is funny that people are using the exact same words to describe both of them... both #1 and #2 are "cleaner" etc.

To me they seem interchangeable. Pick whichever one YOU feel you like better.

I guess I would go with #2. Both are very similar, but #2 was a little more weight on her.
