    This is my other holdback from this year. I was crossing my fingers for a female pewter and I got one! I'm planning on pairing her with my savannah in a few years. I think that will be a fun pairing.

    Thanks everyone for the comments! I was definitely bummed when she didn't have bigger unbroken flames, but her smaller flames and busier patterns are growing on me for sure.

    Luckily she has a beast appetite - her dam was 1600g at a year of age. No powerfeeding at all, just a freaky metabolism and growth rate. If I have any luck, this girl will follow in her footsteps!

    Yeah, I remember my first year breeding snakes (it was cornsnakes) and I had about 18 hatch and I wanted to keep all of them! I did keep all of them for about 9 months then realized I didn't need a zillion of the same thing.

    The first clutch is always the best clutch! Though now my problem is I have too many projects going on, so its hard to decide what to keep and what to let go.
