Caramel Mojave

This is the youngest of my girls. As a hatchling I stated in a thread that she would be the prettiest of her CM clan as an adult. At 18 months/1000 grams she seems to be getting there. :D

That is an inspired combo, and it just keeps getting better with age. Beautiful snake, and with a nearly perfect stripe, too.

Very nice Bill. She is coloring up very nicely. That is also a remarkable combination in general. I might have to start on that project soon.

Are you going to try for the Super Mojo Caramel? I am curious to know if you will see it similar to the Hypo Supers. I almost wonder if it would be more yellow as an adult than a regular Super Mojo.

I am sure to make the Super Mojo Caramel at some point -- but not this year. :( I held back a half-dozen 09 Mojave 66% Caramel girls that may be ready in 2012. I am pairing a Butter girl or 2 with my CM boy this year in hopes of producing a Leucy Cross Caramel Het. I think your theory might be correct in that whatever Caramel color the super accepts/adopts would intensify with age!!! :banana:

Hey Alice! :) I am pairing my CM boy with a Butter or 2 this coming year. Would love to get a Butter Het -- along your line of thinking AND your secondary thought I'm sure -- a Mojave/Butter Leucy Het Caramel -- a BOY would be nice as long as I able to just order it up!!! Don't we all wish it were that easy????

I find this combo to be an "end combo" -- I could ugly it up by adding a wrong gene. I have thought long and hard about choosing to add another gene OR make more CM's??? Will do a little of both this year -- in the best of all possible worlds!! ;)
