Actually there *is* a snake in my pocket. But I AM happy to see you!
    Hi, everybody!

    [Hi, Dr. Nick!]

I'm Starwild, eccentric, reptile fiend and professional writer. (And newspaper reporter, when I admit to it.) I'm on most reptile sites on the 'net and am very belatedly joining this one because it seems much more active than others.

The basics: I'm 27, female, single, reclusive and work all the time (gee, not that any of that is related! :P) I live in eastern North Carolina. I have a master's degree in journalism and root for the Georgia Bulldogs. I love and write urban fantasy and my favorite TV shows currently are Supernatural, Doctor Who, and The Walking Dead.

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way: The reptiles!

I've been keeping reptiles since about May of 2007. I have seven snakes, two leopard geckos, and plans to get a lot more. As you can see from my signature, I keep mostly colubrids, plus the derpiest of all derpsnakes, the Kenyan Sand Boa. And of course my first snake, baby girl and TV watching buddy, Leuca the ball python. That's her in my sig, looking uncharacteristically fierce. It's a total lie, she's a lump.

I'm on iHerp as well, just ignore that I haven't updated my tracking in forever.

Nice to meet you, always great to find more herp people to share in the madness! :taz:

(And if you were wondering, the quote in my signature is modified from an actual quote by Chandler in Friends. I giggled so hard.)

Welcome to the site! You sound like a great addition :D I too loved your title! This is definitely one of the most active ball python/reptile sites! (the best one in my opinion :P ) The people on here are great, and nearly everyone is more than willing to share their secrets to keeping ball pythons, or any reptile for that matter!

Good luck with the addiction, this site just feeds the urge expand your collection!
