Would you pay for a snake app?

Hello, I'm an Android Developer and I am trying to make a snake catalog app witch includes 28 snakes(will add more) photos and info about them, all verry well organized but kept simple...My question is...would you pay for such an app?and how much will you be willing to pay? I've searched the android market and I Didin't find virtually anything about snakes other than the popular game, so we need this kind of app.

I would be more interested in a husbandry application that utilizes the camera phone to scan bar codes for data entry. :gj:

too complex for me i think...:P, but i will think about it...maybe i can incorporate it in this app,and you should scan the barcodes of what?hosbandry products?

We are making a husbandry app right now for droid, maybe we could collaborate :)

As to your question on what I'd be willing to pay for such an app.... probably $5.99. $9.99 would be the highest I'd consider.

I don't have an android, but an iPhone. But if this were for the iPhone, I probably wouldn't be willing to pay for it. I can't really see a reason just to have that information in an app and pay for it, when I can find that info elsewhere for free. Just my 2¢

However, a record keeping app where the camera could scan barcodes or something like that, I'd fork over some $$$ for!

Your earlier post said for Droid, will you be making one for iPhone?

Don't have a droid phone or anything (yet!) but I would definitely pay for a snake catologuing app, maybe something where you can keep pics of your snakes and then their info (DOB, weight, feeding records, etc.), especially for those of us who are going to be breeding.

I would definitely fork over lots for that.

So we dont completely steal this thread, head here and gimme your ideas.

Tracking App

We are starting with the droid as the mobile device as that is what we have but I am making the local app for the pc able to connect to any later on. it can be run without the mobile app and I am sure many will use it that way until we have full support.

I don't pay for apps...
