Buy a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) like you would hook your computer up to and run your power cords through that. Get a good one with a decent battery life that should tide you over in an emergency.

What type of fuse blew. Something in house or thermostat.

And they can survive few days at cooler temps with no ill effects.

If you hadn't overloaded that circuit, the fuse wouldn't have blown.

Fuses popping in the Box is not always due to overloads. Sometimes its faulty wiring.

Rich, which would suck even worse than an overloaded circuit...

It sure would and wont be a cheap fix. If it keeps happening get a electrician out to check wires.

probably an old fuse with a corroded filament if you weren't running enough to actually overload it.. when you go to buy more just buy tungsten or make sure they are high quality copper

you can get like a 4 pack of cheap ones for like 5 bucks go all out and by the $15 4 pack lol
and if you are able to spend a couple hundred bucks upgrade to circuit breakers they ONLY flip when its overloaded/faulty wiring but faulty wiring causes it to overload.. so either way its an overload.. lol
