What is the best mach for my Fire male?

hi everyone, i got a male beautifull fire ball and i am thinking of buying a female some time soon.
i wanted to know what you guys think the best mach is, for my fire.
i've been looking around, and for now, the top contestants are a bumblebee, or a super pastel... ... but let me know what you think...

I'd get a vanilla pastel female to make fireflies and vanilla creams. Yummy!

thank you. do you think the vanilla pastel is a better mix than the super pastel? isn't the vanilla coser to the lemon pastel tan the super pastel? and i'm sorry about my ignorance, but what is a vanilla cream, do you have a pic? can't find any in the web...

Lemon Pastels don't really mean the coloration of the snake. It's the line of pastels that started at NERD.
You need to see what you like and what will make you happy then from there you can find your fire a mate.

right now i'm leaning to a super pastel female...

correct me if i'm wrong, but 50% pastel, 50% firefly ratio sounds great doesn't it?

yep sounds good. it really depends what u like. if u have money for a bee u have probably 100 bucks more if u save a month or so and could get a butter pastel. with that u have a shot at the butterfly. i really like that morph- no matter if with butter or lesser.

chances to hit the butterfly are 1 in 8

i love lessers, even more than butters, but it is a much lower probability... the super pastel makes the best ratio that i found till now in the genetic wizard.

Well I would say FireFly......you obviously like them and it gives your more opportunity for more combos

that is awsome, so i can still get a super pastel, wait for the right firefly to come out, and then breed it back to it's father...

If you like the idea of a super pastel, and are probably going to get only one more snake, why not splurge and get a killerbee? Can't go wrong with that...

And yes, the Phoenix is the Fire x Desert combo. Females are 3K I believe..

thank you, but the reason i am not going directly for the firefly is the same i whouldn't go for a killerbee... they are both awsome, but way too expensive...

i was thinking of not going over 1000...

A Pewter may be 2 gene morph that isn't above 1000 as well.

Pewter x Fire:
Firemon
Firefly
Pewterfly (never seen)
Pewter
Cinny
Pastel
Fire

If your looking for less expensive morphs I would go with a Pewter, just because it has 2 different genes and can make more combos than just pastel. Pastel prices vs Cinny or Fires is alot less. You should always look at worst case scenario when breeding. My point being you can sell the cinny/pewter/fires easier than a whole lot of pastels.

The vanilla is a separate morph from the pastel, while the lemon pastel is a line of pastels originated by NERD. Here is a pic of a vanilla cream (fire vanila) by Gulf Coast Reptiles (posted with their permission).

I really like the idea of a desert female, too. However, you'd have to be willing to go over budget. Another fire would also be nice. I like the super fires--they are much more interesting than an all white snake, I think.

but i think, the super pastel is where i'm headed, plus my wife loved the pics of some i showed her, so everybody is happy.

now the next step will be where to import them from, in europe.
do you guys have any suggestions where i should get it from?

is there an european breeder knowned for his super pastels? or a really good one?

Going with a superpastel is a good plan expecially if that is what you like... Plus supers have dropped in price....should beable to pick up one in the 400-500 range

Out of what's been suggested, I would go vanilla/pastel all the way. You have a shot at getting both fireflies and vanilla creams and if you hit all three you'd really have an awesome offspring. I don't know that the three gene combo of them has even been done yet.

Anything you put a fire on is going to be a good combo..... We got our fires this year to make black eye lucy's and to put our clown and bumblebee on next year.....

there is a 1000g female on kingsnake right now for 800 plus shipping.....Cut down on your wait time for the project....
