How come when a snake sheds, all the others housed around it start their shed as well
in the last 2 years i have noticed this phenomenon many times, does anybody know why this is?

I second this, the same thing happens with my snakes as well.

Mine do this too! My lesser just shed this morning, yesterday my corn snake, het pied, and RTB shed. My milk snake is in the process of shedding, it's about halfway done.
I've always thought this is a little weird! Could be feeding schedule? But I have so many different kinds of snakes and they grow differently so that'd be odd.

I always thought the same thing. All of mine of similar age seem to shed within a week of each other.

We experience this "phenomenon" as well. It's quite aggravating sometimes when everyone is on an emotional roller coaster at once...and there's not enough chocolate to go around. -.-
:irkd:
I have 3 girls in the house ( only one deals with this ) and I am NOT looking forward to when the little ones catch up with their mother. One is ENOUGH. :tears:
