My 2011 ball python shopping list

im new to breeding but ive had ball pythons for awhile. im breeding my first pair this year a 100% het albino male to a normal female because thats the only female i have right now that can breed. so in 2011 im getting a lot more here's the list.

i already have 2 normal females and a 100% het albino male. im getting atleast 1 female of each but i would like 2.

That's a big list! Do you have an ultimate goal?

My list is as follows:
1.0 Pastel (being delivered next week actually! YAY!)
0.2 Spiders
1.1 Mojo
0.1 Albino
and MAYBE 0.1 pied

My ultimate goal at this point is to get some BEL's and some bees. I hope it works out that way! Right now I've got 1.2 normals, with one of the females being het pied, so I will probably breed her too.

Mine is
0.1 spider
0.1 pinstripe
To go with my male pastel.
And 0.2 Het pieds for my male pied.
All either late 08s to early 09s. Don't want babies

I'm completely new to ball python owning, so my list is short :3

Those are my all time favorite morphs that, y'know...don't cost thousands of dollars, lol.

0.1 Spotnose
0.1 Enchi or Cinny (depending on male pickup)

End goalz include Lighning and panda pieds, BELs and many Uber combos

My wish list is just a Pied. We had a wish list like that too when we started getting into Balls, but with space requirements and, well, money, it just isn't happening. So, I'll just save up for the perfect Pied for me :D

That is quite the wish list you have, do you plan on getting into big time breeding?

yes i do i want to breed them and open a store to sell them. i will have atleast $2000 in january to spend on snakes

That's one large ambition. Hope you don't plan on making money for a couple years... Great choices in snakes though!

no i dont plan on starting the store for abt 5-10 years. once i run out of space in my house. my spare room where i keep the snakes can hold abt 400 ball pythons if i do it right.

My ultimate goal is to get true ghosts (axanthic ghosts), honeybees, and mojave deserts (hehe :D ) But for now I've got my little Pastaves coming along, so next year it'll probably be a female lesser to do some BELs for kicks :D Those recessive genes and expensive deserts are a little intimidating

My advice to the OP first is to look at all the combo morphs out there and pick your favorite few. Then create a list of what you will need to achieve those goals. Having 2 of all of the common morph females is nice, but not necessary and you may find yourself overwhelmed.

That aside, my list is short and simple for 2011.

0.1 Clown

Don't forget when you are getting started one of your largest expenses will be caging. If you plan to continue to acquiring snake always buy bigger racks than you need. It is never a bad idea to have empty rack space or empty racks. You never know when you will run across a deal that is priced so that you have to buy it. Also ALWAYS KEEP A SEPERATE QUARINTINE RACK.

i plan i building all my racks the only ones i like that i can buy cost over $1000 like freedom breeders.

All I want for 2011 is an Enchi and Lesser/Butter.

My wish list happens to be far too long to post but my need to get list is:
0.1 het caramel albino-pending... I had a female caramel waiting to be shipped but it got an RI so the dealer and I canceled
0.1 mojave
0.1 ghost
and I desperately desire a pied... male female doesnt matter as long as it fits in the budget
