Looks more like a pastel to me...however. That would be awesome additions to my collection. Which is currently 1 male ball. Then I could breed my male to both females and have a variety of morphs.

Ugh I wasnt planning on getting another snake till xmas or summer. But this is an awesome deal. Granted my rents would kill me :P and they are taking care of my snakes while im at college but.... Next year I most likley will be able to have em with me since imma live off campus.

They were so convinced I was gnna go to college and lose my love for snakes but Im just as snake crazy now as I was 3 months ago!!

So What do yall think?

Ehh that's actually not that great of a deal. You could get that deal from a local breeder and have a snake that doesn't have rat bites. The tank isn't really a deal maker for me. Honestly i wouldn't do that deal, unless they are really your perfect snakes, i would wait and looks at dozens before you choose the right one. You have to remember snakes get cheaper all the time, especially Ball Pythons, so if you wait till around Christmas, a local show would be a nice place for you!!!

Leaning more towards a Lesser but Im not sure I wanna spent $400.

Honestly even though it is more money, a Lesser is a beautiful snake to look at and can be mixed with anything and make it better. Heck Lesser Spiders and Lesser to Lesser can give you some AMAZING snakes!

I just searched Kingsnake classifieds and female Lessers are going for around $250!!! Not bad at all.

They are one of the most gorgeous bp morphs I think.
Who knows I may get a spider also or a pastel.

I wanted a spider in the beginning but the owner of the exotic store said for breeding purposes a pastel would be a better choice. So Idk anymore lol

Im going to start a snake fund...well more like a 2nd snake fund haha.

MAYBE males but they look like crap. Good females go for atleast 350 (no shipping) or more. But you get what you pay for.

First I was dead set on a spider...

Offer him 300 bucks. I don't think you could get a pin or mojo female for 150 even at at show this year or next. If it's just a mouse bite and not a chew you will never see the bite after a few sheds.

Both are females for $350! That seems like a fine deal to me! As said above...maybe offer $300?

You don't know their females and you can't trust someone to sell them as such. I wouldn't do it, seems risky.

I offer about 300 but wantot have someone prove their females first cause if males that over paying. I was only offered 40 each for the pastels males I got and i know i could get more for them.

That pastel is really nicley colored I think.

Well the flash on the camera screws it up, it could be either. The bright colors could be that of a nice Mojave, most likely. A lemon pastel or other high quality pastel could through those bright yellows also.

That was a Mojave. Not a lemon pastel...maybe that's why you didn't think it was a good deal? Sexing snakes is plenty easy if you know what you are doing.

I've tried sexing my male a few times and I can never get it haha. I feel like im hurting him so I stop.

That is a good deal for sure, the hell with the tank ask him if he will knock off $50 if you dont take the tank. Go buy a used 360 elite for $200 off craigslist or eb games then you just got 2 sweet snakes super cheap

Tinley had some spankingly awesome lessers, both male and female, and all were showing a steep drop in price from even just 6 months ago.

Everyone and their brother has lessers these days, there will likely be more lessers than pastels bred in the coming years.

$250 for a female lesser that doesn't "look like crap" is certainly a findable price.

Also, female and male prices are evening out quite a bit more (except for non-visual hets) among ball pythons. This is part of the crashing market.. And yes, the market IS crashing.
