Catching-Up Time with Everyone!!

Hey everyone,

I've noticed I don't really go on the forum as often as I used to. It kinda sucks to be honest, I miss talking to a lot of you guys! I'll try to be on more often when I can.

This is an all-open thread, so who ever wants to respond can jump in the convo, but hey I like making new friends too:).

Anyways, anyone got some new herps? Post some pics, I'd like to see:D.

That Blood is so beautiful! I've got a Blood female, I named her Autumn because of her colors. If you like that name I don't really care if you steal it:P.

She's doing great actually! Just fed her yesterday. She still has her strong feeding response which I'm glad about.

I also acquired a Colombian Rainbow boa on Saturday:banana:. I might gets some pics of it today. I was also gonna check the gender and get a weight down on it, so looking forward to that:).

We're moving into our other house next week or so, and my reptile room is huge LOL. More herps to buy:gj:.

Thanks it's good to hear from you as well:). And thank you again, I can't wait until she gets bigger.

Oh you bet I've got plans LOL:rofl:. The Phoenix Reptile Expo is next month:P. I plan on getting a couple lizards, a Crested and an Albino Leo. As for snakes, an Albino Honduran, Striped King, maybe a Ball morph, possibly* a Sumatran Short-Tail (I really like them!), and some other stuff that I can't think of at the moment.

But I'm definitely planning on filling that room up as much as I possibly can LOL.. aside from that I'm also looking for a job, hopefully at Petsmart because that's really the only place at the moment that I can think of. If there's no reptiles at any other place than I probably would be pretty bored:D.

Tiff, I have been wondering lately where you were! I have missed seeing all your threads, and posts! Glad you checked in!

Tiff Long time no talkey, good to see you back..... As far as the reptile expo next month, would love to meet you in person and say hello..... My reptile dreams and wants are depending on the trip to phoenix next month, and what comes out of the incubator next spring (got 3 females locking upwith males already yay)....

Hey, I remember reading all of your posts! I've always been more of a lurker, but I've been completely away for a while. I moved cross-country, got a puppy, and started back to a really tough school, so I've been MIA, too.

All the BPs are happy, healthy, and living the good life in my closet. I even got Arachne to take F/T for the first time EVER tonight! :D Valentine's just over 1500g, and I think I might try to breed my very first clutch with her this season with my spider boy, Ainmire. :banana: I keep trying to talk hubby into another rack so I can add a butter this year, but that's more successful some days than others.

Glad to see you're back, and I'm glad to be back! This is just the best place on the web. :gj:

Hey Tiff, I don't post too much but have to give you a :gj: on your big Dum girl. Very nice looking snake, hope she's doing well for you. My wife and I attended the NARBC show last weekend in Tinley Park, IL and almost came home with a nice 3 year old female Dum. Ah, maybe next time... ;)

I have also kind of vanished off the face of the net :-) Tiff we need to motivate each other to get back on bp.net more often! lol

That would be pretty awesome, I'd like to meet ya too! Somehow we should try getting the members of BP.net who are going to the Phoenix expo to do a dinner or BBQ thing.

That would be pretty awesome if you started up breeding, I'd like to see pics of the babies whenever the time comes:). And you're lucky you can have a puppy! If I had one I'd so get a little Pitbull LOL.

This place really is one of the best places to be on the web, I've learned so much and met so many awesome people that it's kind of hard to not ever check in every once in a while.

Haha thank you! She is a pretty big girl, I just love to take her out when I have people over. Everyone (or most people:P) like to all hold her together and take pictures.

My sister is on this research group for one of her classes and she was put into this one group for a project that basically is to just try to make time to hangout with everyone even though you have classes and jobs, and take pics of the places they all hungout at. Long story short my sister chose my house to see the snakes and they absolutely loved my Dum girl.

I would definitely consider getting a Dum next show, heck I might even try to get another Dum at the next show LOL.

Top one is my female het albino Stardust.
The bottom one is my male het albino Ziggy.

Awwh they are both definitely cute. Hope they do well! I assume you plan on breeding them? Since they are both het for Albino.. unless you just have them as pets:).

Hey! I thought I hadn't heard from you in a while, but I haven't been on too much either. I saw some picks of your new rainbow boa, and added that to my want list immidietly, hahaha. I just posted pics of my pick-ups from NARBC Tinley, here Spent WAAAAY too much money, but I should be content for the next few months, lol. :D

Yeah it's been a while huh?

LOL once I saw the little babies at the sanctuary I immediately fell in love. The next week I went in I totally bought that little girl. They are pretty awesme snakes actually, I never really thought I would get into owning a Rainbow boa. Soon maybe even I'll have as many boas as pythons LOL, now that I'm finding out about all these super cool boas lately.

I'll definitely look at that thread! I love expo pics. It's so hard not to spend a lot of money at expos, there's just too many things in one place and you go system overload:rofl:.

It's funny that you bring this up, because i felt also that i hadn't been on this forum in a long time, probably over 6 months. Then just about 2 weeks ago i got the BP.NET bug and now have been on here no stop trying to help out people with Ball Python worries and seeing all these new breeders coming up in the hobby.

Glad to see you get back, this forum is awesome because there is always members willing to help and it seems as if people always have questions since we all know how tricky it can be to get everything set up perfectly.

Yeah I think it was also because I wasn't used to the forum layout change and I got kinda lost but now it's pretty understandable to me.

Thanks you too! Yeah I love this forum, this is the place where I learned deeper into BP husbandry and learned about other species as well. I'll always have a place in my heart for this forum, it was a pretty big part of me for sure.
