mouth rot, help!

well my woma ball python has mouth rot, when i open her mouth she has a lot of saliva so i know she has it. how can i get rid of it? ive noticed it for the last couple of days. help me please. :(

Take it to the vet asap.

Just saliva could be the beginnings of an RI instead of mouthrot. Is the inside red or black? Is there any cottage cheese looking paste around her gumline? Is there any wheezy sounds, popping, or whistling? Sometimes mouthrot and RI come hand in hand, which your vet would be able to diagnose when he examines it.

its a normal pink color, no cottage cheese or anything that looks like it shouldnt be there except for the excess saliva. and no weezing or anythingg.

oh and i opened her mouth today to look inside and its like bubbles at her throat.

Now that sounds like RI

is there any way to treat it at home?

oh and is it contagious? cause shes in a tank with another snake.

yes it is contagious, you need to quarantine sick snake in another room, and take to vet asap

The bubbles in the throat could just be from opening the mouth and saliva coming up from the throat as you're holding the head,

Is the excess saliva thick and sticky or thin and watery?

I'm going to say it again. If you're not sure, TAKE IT TO THE VET! Stop trying to guess what it is.

The other snake will get it too. There's no chance at this point that it won't get it. RIs are highly contagious and they shouldn't have been together to begin with. Now you have to take both of them to the vet.

The only way to effectively treat an RI is with antibiotics that only your vet can prescribe, the only thing you can do at home is bump up the temps to 95 in the hot spot and make sure the ambient temp is not below 80. This with the antibiotics should help your snake pull through. Also, you should not cohabitate your snake for this reason RI's are contagious and if left too long are very difficult to treat please go to the vet ASAP.

Because it's in with another snake, the other snake very possibly already has it. By the time a snake shows symptoms of being sick, it has been sick for awhile. BIG reason not to house snakes together:(. Hope they are both going to be OK

okay so i found out what meds she needs so now im going to buy them and start getting her better (8
