I love the childrens... I dont have much experience with them.... I have gotten them in @ my store (honestly expecting to have them for a while, and they sell so well, the joy of a python with their size makes them quite amazing little critters) ne way while I have them they are always so cool, I absolutely love them, congrats on the pick ups

Thanks. Just time to read up on proper size for females to be for breeding.

I like they incubate same temps as the BP eggs. Just ill be breeding with out the brumate period and just breed in spring time.

Ill have pics of female tomorrow. For some reason i can not pop these lil guys so Brian did it for me.

both species average same length just spotted gets hair thicker and able to eat rat pups. Even though both are considered same diff name. Some have bred them together with success.

Most average 2-4 ft depending on sex and feeding. They are so far very calm till pinky is around them. Then they get flighty looking for it

I have an adult male that I raised from a hatchling. Seems funny now to see pictures of them with spots. They are a fun snake.
I tried for a couple of years to find a female and when I finally did, it just wouldn't eat.

Rich that little one is looking great...I love the feeding response of these little guys...They hit just as aggressive as my retic, but in a shot glass sized package...My little male took 2 f/t fuzzies this AM because the female didn't want to eat...Hoping that's a sign she's going off feed :please::please::please:

Rich are You feeding Live or F/T ?? and if that are F/T did You have big trouble to convince them to take it??

I'm asking because I'm thinking about Spotted pythons and they are pretty much same like Childrens just little bigger :)

They been fed F/T since their first meals. They switch very easily no problems.

Drop in a f/t over night and check back in morning.

Yep i was even thinking to keep them i the same rack with my YB.. I have 30qt RBI rack and they sell dividers so You can make 2 15qt cages from one tub.. I think That will be perfect for the beginning.... I least Hope so...

15qt is too big for hatchlings. They need to be in very small setups for a good 6 months after hatching.

Actually I was thinking about get Yearlings.... I think Brian from BHB had some of spotted yearling... need to send him an email ;) But thanks for advice anyway :)

He dont have any yearlings up for sale. All are hathclings still on pinkies.

I work there and seen them all and some are larger than others. I think theres a few that would do fine in 6qt tubs no problems.
