Last, but not least, is Powder. My red tail boa het snow. She is in shed, which you can see from her blue eyes in the pics. I didnt have as much light in these pics as I did with the others so they turned out a little worse

Ill be doing a little photo shoot outside as soon as shes done shedding :)

    Nice pics!

I moved the thread into "General Herps" for you, as it seemed to fit there better than "Broadcast" which is for news articles and other media type links.

I hope the cohab works out for you!

I have heard some horror stories about black piranha cohabs, but if you feel they will get along well I dont see a reason to not do it :)

I love black piranhas too. I refuse to get reds simply because they are so common. I wanted something bigger, and more uncommon lol

I also love the fact that they are lone fish so you know how much they are eating, unlike the shoals where one or two may be eating a lot more than the rest

Thanks again :) Lol sorry about the rambling too, I love piranhas (and all my other pets! :D )

yeah I hear you on the cohab issue. I am also concerned that they are skittish fish and my 180 is in a high traffic area unfortunately.
So probably I'll just keep dreaming. :P

Lol, no problem with dreaming :)

Have you thought about other shoaling fish like Pygocentrus cariba? They are very agressive and are less skittish than P.nattereri (red bellys). :)

Thanks! Lol the piranha is a big hit here :D

Yeah Lily has a amazing personality, she is just the cutest thing :) If shes curious about something she'll look at it like "Whats that!?"

She has quite a feeding response too. I hand feed her sometimes and get my finger in her mouth at some times lol!

    More pics of Lily

I made the best light tent that I could, I only had one light and had to make the light tent out of a laundry basket (AKA the most ghetto light tent ever made LOL)

But the photos turned out slightly better than they would have without it so im happy :)

She was NOT impressed with me. She wouldnt sit still, kept running out of the light tent as fast as she could, and was very pleased when I put her back into her tub lol!

    Here are the pics :)

Not bad! I made a light tent once that would make a photographer cringe. I had three lights and the pics still turned out terrible.

Lmfao, yeah making one can be really frustrating lol its kinda a trial and error type of thing

I may just buy a real light tent when I get a job that way the pics will turn out a lot better.

For now I think im just gonna photograph outside lol. the natural light is really the next best thing
