    Ashy bellied female dinker
Any opinions on what she might be?

She's just got up to size and i'd also like some opinions on what to put to her.

I'm thinking lesser or yellowbelly would go well. Ideally i'd like to put a mojave to her but I don't have one and i'm not planning to buy any more snakes any time soon.

    Interesting...
I think that the Yellowbelly would be a good choice with that girl...
    Might produce some interesting results.

    Hi,

I'd love to see the result of breeding her with a lesser or mojave.

    Ressurecting my old thread.

Unfortunately the yellowbelly and lesser did not want to know this season and refused to lock (that I saw).

She did lock up once with my pastel and has been building, I'm pretty sure I saw an ovulation the other day and now she's looking big and sure enough she's on the hot spot for the first time in a couple of months so i'm expecting a pre-lay shed soon.

Wonder If any babies will look like mum. :D

Yaaay! Keep us updated, that belly looks very interesting. It'll be fun if it proves out to be genetic (and maybe there will be a super!). Good luck!

Nice. I'm going to second the vote for a BEL het pairing, but I think YB is a fine choice, too.

Good luck on the pastel babies this year. I hope she proves!

I'm terrible with pictures. Is the back of her head noticeably faded? Is the dark on her belly blotched or evenly spread all over the belly?

She sort of reminds me of my Garcia line chocolate with the way the wide dark pattern fades up the sides.

Yes her head has a soft faded look and the dark is spread across her whole belly. The pics show pretty much how it looks all over. :)

BTW, I hadn't ruled out her being a chocolate but they seem so varied, some looking distinctive like the Garcia line, and others looking no different from a normal in general patterning. The belly is something that rarely gets well presented in morph ID phtos and usually it's the defining factor.

She is really neat! I hope you get some babies out of her and find out if she's genetic. She's beautiful!
