I started breeding last year the first of Sept and was gonna hold off until Oct but had the urge so I place the Epic Pastave in with my Pied. Well I will let the pictures show what I saw this afternoon.

What about cool down time? Or are you like me and just go with the seasons? It's already started getting cool in Virginia at night. I've started cutting the ambient temp heater off at nights now. Still have the belly/back heat going strong though.

I've had lock ups too, storms came in and Bamm.
Who needs a cool down period :P

Thanks Guys this female is about 2200 grams he just is only 900 grams lol. This is the male that had 3 clutches laid and hatched before he hit a year old.

Congrats! Should be some nice babies. :D I think this whole "cool down" thing is a myth. My guys were locking in August when it was 98 degrees... it was also their first time, so maybe they just didn't know any better!
