    ITball and Horrorbee
So I've been thinking lately, really just today, that a Clown Ghost and a HumbleBee(PastelxSpiderxGhost) really need more fitting names.

I'm think HorrorBee for the HumbleBee and ITball for the Clown Ghost. The HorrorBee is rather obvious, but the ITball is a reference to Stephen King's IT.

    Any thoughts?

Horrorbee is amazing, ITball might just scare people off of buying clowns.

Funny thing is I was just thinking someone should name a Clown combo after that exact clown. Both names sound good to me

Ugh. I hate combination names. I wish anything other than a base morph would just use the base morph naming convention, i.e. Pastel X Ghost.

Why? There are over 45 base morphs for Ball Pythons. If every combination of two or three morphs were named, there would be over 15,000 names.

dunno I think there are far worse names for combo morphs than the two examples given. I think that perhaps most of them should just be listed as what they are, ie desert spider enchi....no need to come up withsome rediculous name that has nothing to do with what the animal actually is.... right? names are getting rediculous, and if we keep up with the trend of coming up with these names, I will eventally name somthing a rumplestilskin, just so i can laugh about it every time it comes up...

While I agree to a point, it's also easy for at least 2 combo morphs. I'd say you can have the 45 base, and then all you're 2 combo such as Bumblebee you could leaved named. It's when you get into 3 and 4 combo or more morphs that names get a little crazy. LOL

I'm not a fan of stupid names for combos.
    Too much to remember.
You're giving people far too much credit.

Agreed! The names are getting way out of hand and no one is going to remember any of these 4-5 gene names anyway.

u can see it this way or another. sometimes i think the names are really unnecessary but some really are good.

id rather say enchi killerqueen than lesser super pastel spider enchi or red spectrum instead of hidden gene lesser hidden gene woma yellow belly granite pastel

    i think u know what i mean

I think it really comes down to whether the name sticks or not. There's ton of 3 and 4 gene morphs with bee stuck on the end. It's all about whether it catches on, no ones stopping you from calling it Super pastelxBlack pastelxspiderxpinstripexYB

    atleast 85 lol

HorrorBee is kinda a stretch if you ask me I mean HumbleBee if just 1 letter off from Bumblebee, makes sense.

plus theres a group of us that really don't see calling plain hypos...ghosts, since a true ghost is a hypo/axanthic. thats a name id rather see changed lol.

    Hypo + bumblebee = humblebee
    honeybee + bumblebee = humblebee

There's two ways for the 'humblebee' name to make sense. :P

I don't mind the 2 combo names, like bumblebee and honeybee and whatnot, Just anything more than 3 should just be named after the genetics involved. Too many combos and too little coordination. It's fun to come up with names for a morph you came up with, but just because one person uses it won't stop someone else from using another name
