Thanks! I hope I get way better odds on clutches next yr then I did this yr! This year I got beat down with a stick from the odds gods!! LOL I guess I will have to sacrifice a chicken or something this yr! LOL

Ha ha, hopefully that chicken will do it for you. I'm just starting to pair up my guys now, my boys haven't eaten since July, and I was hoping to at least get them to take a few more meals, but I guess not. Hopefully all goes well.

Generally it is IF they are big enough to eat real food. But the mice I had weren't even weaned from the mother yet so I felt safe in leaving it in there. Sometimes with babies you have to leave the food item in and shut the lights off to get them to eat. I usually do that for an hr or two and if they don't eat then I pull it out. The bigger snakes if they don't eat within 15 minutes then I take it out.
