    2010-2011 Breeding Season Plans
It's September, and breeding season is right around the corner. We've all started tossing around ideas of what we're going to pair up this year. Here's what I'm hoping to work on this coming breeding season:

Normal Female (Azrielle) X Pastel Male (Midas)
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...lLightGirl.jpg
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...PrettyPose.jpg

Normal Female (Chloe) X Spider Male (Mushu)
Did this pairing last season, too. LOL
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d.../BigOlGirl.jpg
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...TongueShot.jpg

Orange Ghost Female (Siennah) X Spider Male (Mushu)
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...h/NiceShot.jpg
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...TongueShot.jpg

Possible Pairing (female needs to gain weight):
100% Het Albino Female (Albionne) X 100% Het Albino Male (Alchemy)
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...hubbyAgain.jpg
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...TongueShot.jpg

Possible Pairing (Female needs to gain lots of weight first):
Lesser Platinum Female (Maleficent) X Piebald Male (Hercules)
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...ngUpNicely.jpg
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d.../GreatPose.jpg

    Another Possible Breeder:
Normal Female (Spaz, Chloe's 2007 daughter) X ? (Don't know if I will pair her or not, but she should make weight. I am thinking of putting the spider male and the pastel male in and just see what pops out. Do a "Who's Your Daddy?" clutch. LOL)
    http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...TongueShot.jpg

So what's everyone else got in the works for this coming season? You don't have to post pics if you don't feel like it, but I'd love to see them if you would!

Looks like you'll have a fun season! You've got some beautiful ladies and gents lined up there!

    Here are mine:

Apple (2800 gram BHB Line Cinnamon) X Silent Bob (Woma Het Red Axanthic, photo courtesy of Jon Courtney at Cold Blooded Addiction. He is getting shipped to me Tuesday!):

    Silent Bob:

Silent Bob may also get paired with Pumpkin,a CH 2007 Normal:

    http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g.../Pumpkin-4.jpg

If Banana (Female pastel het hypo) gets some size on her again she might be bred to Jay (Mojvae het hypo) for a repeat of this year's ill fated clutch:

Clearly great minds think alike. Here is hoping there is something genetic going on with both of them!

So this year is myfirst year.. I have a
het albino x possi het albino hopefully prover her out
    Pastel x pastel
    black paste x black pastel
pinstripe (if he gets big enough) x normal
next year,I will have some nice big spider females,a mojo female, hopefully my fire female will be ready as well

This is also my first year breeding. No pics from me just yet either.

Male albino to 3 het albino females and possibly a female pinstripe. (Going to look at a breeder size pin in a couple days.)

Male pinstripe to pastel and het ghost. Unless my lesser male is ready then he will go with the pastel.

Then I have 4 1800+ gram female normals that I'll decide who will breed with them.

Also might get a 100% het lav male from The Snake Keeper, but probably wouldn't make size this year. If he by chance did then I'd put him with a couple females.

I'm just hoping my male lesser was to size now then I'd definitely have things figured out better.

    For this season I have:

2000 gram clown male X 2000 gram black pastel female
2000 gram clown male X 1400 gram yellow belly female
2000 gram clown male X Matrix pastel female(pending breeder loan)
500 gram yellow belly dinker to 2 2000 gram normals(try to prove him out)
    500 gram Fire male X 2 2800 gram normals
900 gram male black pastel X 1800 gram albino female
900 gram male Black pastel X 1800 gram granite female

That's probably all but one or two might pop up yet, good luck to all this coming season!

This season, I'll just have Pastel male x Pewter Female again, but next year I'll have my smoking Pastel YB and a really nice YB up to size and I'll also have a ridiculous Fire that should breed next season, so 11-12 is going to be my first big season.

Looks like it'll be an exciting year for everyone! :gj:

Here's what I'm planning for the upcoming season, not including the corn snakes (still debating over whether to breed them). I'm also a little male-heavy right now, so I'll either play some "who's the daddy" or pick up another breeding female.

Julius the Mojave (with his recent offspring)
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1020414.jpg

Will be paired with Nerissa - normal
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1010803.jpg

Also might pair her with Toby the pastel, unless I get another female...
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...2/DSC_0233.jpg

Then my (high contrast) het albino pair... Orlando x Rosalind.
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1020271.jpg

Rosalind is just shy of 1400g now, but pounding rats like candy. ;)
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1010969.jpg

    Next there's Vinnie the Spider
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1010791.jpg

    x Mona - normal
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/DSCN2431.jpg

Finally I have a "questionable" female normal, Delilah... still under 1000g, so I doubt she'll make it.
    http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/P1020721.jpg

If she does by some miracle, I'll pair her with Dave the Black Pastel!

    Re: 2010-2011 Breeding Season Plans
Lolo, I bought in the middle of last august and decided not to breed her until she was over 1800 g. Well, she got there by about mid-December and kept on eating through the breeding season. If she gets to about 1400-1500 g, try pairing her once and even if there isn't a copulation, that should send her into an eating frenzy and she should easily get there.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips. :) I'm thinking she won't get to 1400g this winter, since she's not a big eater (mice only, 2-3 weekly)... we'll see, but I'm not gonna push her!

I have been waiting several season for this year to come around.

pos het snow female x DH snow male

het albino female x DH snow male

DH axanthic ghost female x DH snow male( I don't have a DH axanthic ghost male so I'm hoping for some axanthics pos het for both ghost and albino. This is going to be a long but interesting triple recessive project.)

    pastel female x pastel male

I have a normal female that I might let take the year off. If I breed her it will probably be with the DH snow male for more pos het snow females.

I need some more codom's, Most of my snakes look like normals. You guys at least have cool snakes to look at while you are growing them.

    im planning on breeding
    (f)pastel x bumble bee
    (f)het red x bumble bee
    (m)mojave x normal
    (m)het red x normal
if i get this other pastel breeder female then im going to do male het red x pastel as well
have other normals but im low on males and the bumble bee is a friends so he will be spread pretty thin between my females and his.
maybe ill come up with a male butter or pewter before season. id like to put a pewter to a few normal girls.
