Easiest way to start would be getting a pied, and a cinny (or black pastel). Breed, get cinnies (or black pastels) het. pied.
Breed them back to the pied (or another pied to expand gene pool) and have a small chance of getting the pied cinny.
Then breed pied cinny to a cinny het. pied and have the small chance of hitting the super cinny pied (panda pied).

Will take years even if you are amazingly lucky.

The panda pied was super blackpastel x pied, but you'd get the same snake with super cinnamon.

I want to make one one day too! Got cinnys myself, hoping to breed a pied this year. Good luck to you!

To save some time I woud try to find a breeder size super cinny or a super cinny het pied! If you can find a super cinny het pied then you can start right away!

I started my Pewter Pied project 2 years ago and hit on it this year. One more clutch to go. If you have breedable adults, it's possible to hit within 2 years depending on how long it takes to get your offspring up to size.

How big is your pied, and what sex? The limiting factor is always the females--you have to wait for her to get up to size, and then you have to wait for her black pastel het pied daughter(s) to get up to size.

You can pick up a black pastel het pied MALE almost anytime for (relatively) cheap. But the girls are pricey, and then you still have to grow her up.

Wait, does that mean you have a pewter pied to show? Where are the pics at?

Here you go. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but still a very cool looking animal. I have one more clutch due to hatch in about a week.

There is possibly something else going on with my Pewters as well. I have no idea what the patternless/striped animal is. This was Pewter het Pied to Pewter.

Even the Super Pastel is different. Probably the best looking super I've ever seen.

Far out. I think there -must- be something wacky going on. Do you think that patched one is a pewter pied, too?

If you are referring to the group shot, they are just Cinnies.....although I think Cinny and Black Pastel are the same thing and should be considered one morph.

No. I think the "patched" animal is a paradox Super Pewter, probably het Pied. The adults that produced this clutch were my original female Pewter bred back to her Pewter het Pied son.

That doesn't jive. If he has a Super Cinny boy to his pied, he would just get ALL Cinnies het Pied.
