What the heck is that???? NEW MORPH?
So this clutch is from one of our Pewter het Pieds bred back to his Pewter Mother. I'm not quite sure what a couple of the neos are at this point and was hoping I could get some help. I'm not going to bother posting a pic of the actual sire of the clutch because he looks like any other Pewter with a little less orange/yellow.

Not sure about the one with the stripe... But I'm pretty sure that is a super pewter with either just black spots or paradox.

Definitely no Piebald in the mix.....though they are 50% pos. het Pied. The Pewter Pied was posted last week.

Thanks everyone! It's really a guess at this point. I think there is something else going on with the female Pewter. Even my 08 Pastel het Pied she produced looks a little odd. Her eggs are due soon. A couple more chances at cool things to hatch. I'll post when the stork arrives.

    Thanks again.

it looks exactly like how I would imagine a "no white" pied/super pastel/cinny to look, but if only 1 of the parents is het pied... i donno.

    sweet looking clutch anyways

    I have a kidney I don't need, would you consider a trade for that paradox ? :D

I have no idea what that baby is, but lordy I'd love to hatch a clutch like that.

Re: What the heck is that???? NEW MORPH?
man thats cool. after some bad clutches this season u really deserved these clutches.
i know, i said it on the petwer pied clutch as well, so now u have to stop being so lucky...lol

honestly i have no idea what it is, but im pretty much 100% sure it has nothing to do with pieds.

i guess u have to figure that out the long way. these days are crazy. look at the striated ball that hatched from a black eyed lucy x fire clutch...

anyway- congrats on hatching such a nice group. i would keep every one of em...lol

    greetings from germany

I don't know because I'm not good with genetics and morphs. However, what I do know is that entire clutch is AMAZING. I could only imagine hatching all those different snakes. :)

    Congrats!

Re: What the heck is that???? NEW MORPH?
Well the Paradox snake is a Super Pewter. Congrats on hitting the 1:16 odds. The other snake with the neck stripe is a toss up. Looks super pewterish also but with a little to much color and not enough pattern to be called a Sterling Pastel. I would have expected to see more Sterlings in the clutch but you never know what you will get. Something could be going on with your female and the snake that has the neck stripe is from her genes. Anyways nice snakes and congrats on the good odds.

Brandon, that is an amazing clutch! I would agree with others that the splotchy one is a paradox super pewter . . . . and it is sensational. :D I think the one with the neck stripe is also a super pewter, but may have something else going on from the mom.

    Congrats

Very interesting clutch Brandon! Like some others have said, I believe you could have two super pewters there - one paradox, and another with pattern leaking through (I guess you could say a different form of paradox). They all look great, congrats!

Thanks everyone! I've been quite lucky this season. The first Pewter Pied and now this. I'm still thinking there may be something else going on. I've been told by a few people there looks to be YB in the mix....and I'm ok with it.

    Thanks again!

    Hey Brandon,
Do you have post-shed pic's of these yet? From the pre-shed pic's I'm leaning towards the stripey one being silver bullet het pied. Many of the cinnamon and black pastels have very strong dorsal striping when they are het for pied and I'll guess that is what is showing up on that particular snake. I hope you've got time to put up some post-shed pic's. Thanks!

Thanks Paul. I'll probably just hold on to that one and try to figure it out. I didn't consider it being a Silver Bullet because all the Bullets I've seen have been completely patternless. This snake in person is nearly white with a touch of silver/gray on the head and tail. Even the Super Pastel and one of the Cinnies has a different look. I'll get new pics up tomorrow.
