Who else is going? and is it easy to find good deals at Canadian expos?

I am going. Can't wait.. You guys will just have to wait and see what I will be picking up. :P I already have a list going...

Only a few weeks away...

I am very excited too!! I will be making a run to the BHB booth to buy a pair of chocolate ball pythons!!!I would buy more, but me and my Dad just bought a fire female.

I'm going to this is my first time and can't wait.:gj::gj:

I can't wait to see the BHB table!
I have a limited budget, but I'm not gonna try to lowball all over the place
I'm gonna try to get a breeder-size female of some sort and a nice male. I really want a G-stripe :D

I'll be going. Only to purchase feeders and POSSIBLY another crested gecko.

Dont miss it! This years breeders expo is going to be insane!!They have also put together a nice list of guest speakers fort he weekend! I will be there all weekend...........going to be a blast:banana:

The Breeders Expo is the best show of the year!!! The Reptile Expo can't compare to this one! I will definately be there! I got a bp to pick up from Markus Jayne! There are good deals there and an awesome selection! I met Brain last year! Great guy!

Yayayay I hope I get to meet Brian and even Markus, both of them (their websites and videos) have really helped me and gotten me into BPs even more.

Both guys are very friendly and will answer any questions you have!

Love the Breeders expo. I go to see everything new, and meet with old friends/breeders.:)

Yeah I'm so excited too! I have no idea how to get there by public transit but I`ll figure it out later. I'm also trying to figure out which morph's I'll be looking for and how much money I'll bring...

I don't know how to get there with public transit but they do have an atm there so you don't need to carry alot of cash! There should be a Go bus that should get you there. It is near the airport.

Do any of you know if brian from BHB is gonna be there.

Brian from BHB will be there. I sent him an email about a month ago asking questions about one of his snakes and when I told him where I lived, he said you can just buy one at the show in Toronto in September and save the shipping! I asked if he meant the Breeder's Expo on the 18-19 and he said yes. I checked the vendors list and he is listed too!

Yeah will be using GO transit :) luckily I'm going with someone who knows the Toronto area better than I do, lol

LOL! It's better then carrying alot of cash!

If I were you I wouldn't rely on the ATM's. Last year they were empty SO fast.. I'd hate to have to leave the expo and drive to the nearest bank. Might miss out on a few deals in that timeframe. ;)

Guys I have a few questions about this expo

My first time going so yeah lol

First, I was wondering, what time on the 18th can you get in? Should I go there and be there at 10:30 to be at the front of the line?


And I was also wondering, Does anybody know how much a Columbian red tail boa costs at the canadian expo?

All the Expo information is on the website Mike. As for wanting to be at the head of the line, I'd probably go before/around 9AM.. The expo opens to the public at 10AM. I'll probably get there between 9:00 and 9:30AM.

No idea on the Boa prices.. Just bring as much money as you're willing to spend and go from there. :)

Another question.. is it in Toronto.. or Missisauga?

Because it says "Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo Sept 18-19 Toronto" on the reptiles canada site

then if you click that link it says "International Center Airport Road, Mississauga Saturday, September 18 and Sunday September 19, 2010"

So which is it? lol im so confused

yeah it's in Mississauga, which is basically right beside/part of Toronto.

It's right beside the airport and Mississuaga is part of the Greater Toronto Area(GTA)!

dose any one know if the hst tax will be on the snakes.

Most of the time the price you see, is the price you pay at expo's,sometimes you get buy for less.

Yes you do pay less at the Expo than you would at a store for everything including all your supplies! The price you see is the price you pay! Some vendors will negotiate on the price but you don't pay tax. We never paid GST or PST so I assume it is the same with HST!

Yay for no tax! Do they also do deals like, buy these two snakes and get a discount or something? I'm looking to buy a het albino or pied pair or something

Most vendors will give you a deal on a pair! It will probaly only be $25 less or so!

One more week!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
